vorlich, I have the negative of your bike!

Blue BFe with orange (Race Face Atlas FR 785mm) bars and orange grips……we’re so rad.

They don’t even pick up the giant piles of steaming s*#t after them.

454 Air U-turn Pikes on mine. I do like the adjustability but tbh, most of the time it just stays in 140 mode, other than pumptracks and hitting sweet booters that is! I used to drop them for climbs, I just can’t really be bothered now.

Scones? We only get small rocks up here……..but it’s still always jam before cream, we’re not savages.

Biology is actually pretty cool and not a “girl’s subject”.

    Well, you can’t just lie.

It was dark by the time I got back, so here’s some I prepared earlier. Only difference is I now have some orange Race Face ridicubars and a Stans ZTR/Pro 2 on the rear too……and the cables are sorted

Triple chainrings on BFes make baby Jesus cry!

I’m just about to head out on mine, I’ll get some pics up later. Best bike I’ve ever had, it just does everything!

I have the exact same problem. Might try and squeeze the outer poppy bit with some pliers or something, see if that helps with the poppyness.

I’ve only ridden the downhill at Cannock but ride Dark Peak pretty regularly and have hit quite a few centres around the UK.

I really loved Gisburn, it’s a real hoot. There’s a good mix of tight, swoopy singletrack through woodland and quick, open, rocky sections. None of the climbs are particularly technical, the worst being a fire road slog. That said, it is a pretty rocky place. I rode my hardtail there and my arse was hurting from the rocky flat sections by the end. I wouldn’t say the descents are that technical, just good fun. Enough to keep you on your toes but enjoyable with it, not holding on for dear life……ala Hope cross. It’s definitely one of my favourite centres.

I rode it in the wet (pissing rain)btw…..if that makes any odds.

Currently I’ve got some Pike dual-airs on my BFe, they feel good but I’m pretty sure that sometime in the future I’ll swap them out for some u-turn Lyriks. I’d want to keep the travel adjust, it really does get used for everything and 160mm travel isn’t conducive to good 4x track performance.

Other than that I’ve got a 1×9 X7setup, Stand ZTR Flow/hope wheels, some gigantic bars, SLX brakes and High Rollers. It’s by no means the lightest, or fanciest, build, but it’s tough and functional.

They are, by the way, the most fun bike in the world. Amazingly stable at speed for a hardtail. Unless I scrape together a bit of money, mine will be coming along to the Mega with me this year.

Running 1×9 on my BFe, 36t SLX and 11-34 cassette. Pretty good for all round use, it’s my only mountain bike. I’ve got an E13 LG1 with homebrew taco to keep things where they should be.
