Watendlath bridge is buckled. Had to turn back on a night ride a week back. They’d started to put a temporary wood bridge in so i assume its finished… Assuming it doesn’t wash away today.

Yeah boxelder.. nee fun working with dehumidifiers on downstairs though. Fingers crossed, it was the flow of water that got us last time as we’re at the high end of south st.

Had the same symptoms on a passat, it was Camshaft Position Sensor failing. That said the ecu logged that so your issue may me different if it isn’t giving that code.

They drift straight through, there’s no shoulder to press the bearing onto. Pretty simple once you know that.. I didn’t first attempt, tried to remove from the blind side thinking there’d be a shoulder..grrr :)) See the red frame above. Just make a note of where the old bearing sat and press the new ones in, nice and gently so as not to press too far.

Hi bud. The exact same thing happened to the bearings on my MK10. I emailed Liteville to ask were I could buy them or if they would sell some direct. They sent me a updated set, bearings axle and bolts completely free of charge! They have modified it so it has a grease port in the bolt head to stop the corrosion issues. Worth a try before you buy out 😉

Ahh the vw sieve.. If it was the first to issues then yes the front carpet would be wet. Does it have a sunroof? That can block and cause this. AC evaporator drain could be clogged also.

Planet fear and Needlesports in keswick and Rockandrun ambleside have some great deals a lot of the time. The rest are probably better online as they have a captive market in the honeypots and their prices reflect this.

slr’s a bit lighter but has a slimmer rim width. live in the lakes so the wider st is better for me as i can run bigger tyres

edit: whoops sorry didnt read your post right, your asking the difference between sl not st… ignore me :))

ps the route i think your meaning goes over burnmoor to wasdale It can be a struggle in the winter as parts are wet. Its Ok if frozen. The descent into Wasdale is ok’ish but its been sanitised/fixed recently 😉

    anc

Nee its not. That is the descent coming off esk hause sprinkling tarn styhead tarn which is great, then off down into wasdale which ain’t that great as you will have to scramble some of the top then its just straight and loose, yawn.
That descent is better(brill) when you head tuther way to borrowdale at styhead.

    ‘Ridelways’ locally
If you wanna link ennerdale into the bash consider the climb out of the slate mine then the path(moses trod) into Blacksail below Grey knotts. then either back out over Scarth or floutern. You’ll have less hikabike that way 😉
Only thing to consider is if the cloud is low greyknotts moses trod area can be a nav nightmare.

The Farmer is Thomas Ireland from Ennerdale if coming from floutern, had a fun with him in the past, he’s kinda chilled over the years so you’ll be fine going over there. The strava segments called ‘Irelands Gauntlet’ which makes me chuckle 🙂
Your vid is the Sail beck path which goes rigg beck> sail beck. so its keswick side towards buttermere.

Our dog has vestibular syndrome, or ‘old dogs syndrome’. The symptoms you describe are very similar. Get it checked out cos there are various reasons for these type of attacks, its also not just old dogs which get it as one of the names suggest.

It will be fine, sw’early so you’ll get mainly tailwind up . The bit that has had the 2 unfortunate accidents is short (slabby bit) . If your unsure about that bit get off and walk.

+1 Do it yourself its dead easy, assuming your credit rating is good. Lots of good deals especially if you’ve got a good equity %, that are easily accessed without the need to pay someone a fee.

The photos were of 2009 versions. Ian65 said his hubs are white so they are 2010 on.
The hubs that are fully convertible between all the main standards are 2012 on as mentioned above when they introduced the IST-4 hubs. These versions come with all the necessary adaptors.

Keswick deffo better holiday destination, have a look at cockermouth area also, probably better value than Keswick, with the lakes on its doorstep and lots of restaurants/nice pubs etc to make it a good destination

Get in touch with jungle or stif, they’re the UK importers. Should have parts available, once u get one some folks use a ziptie to secure it 😉

Think your cartridge is starting to fail. Either that or perhaps, check the cable is releasing correctly, due to being cacked up… Think it’ll be the first option though. Mine went back to hibike in Germany they sent a prepaid post pdf to send it back, turnaround was about a month.

Gore has different fitting depending on the application. Road stuff is slim fitting mtb stuff is loose.
Eg xenon jacket I take medium and am medium in most other brands. But the path and the balance jackets are a better fit for me in small. 5’11 38 chest. X alp is mtb so will have the looser fit

Just a wee update incase anyone has a issue with a is lev from hibike.
Got it back with new cartridge, took a month to turnaround, pretty good service imo considering they paid to have it returned to Germany.

I’ve had 2 this year, which is less than I would normally get with clinchers, don’t get the pinchers which are easily picked up with the holes on the roads round here. Fixed both with tufo extreme sealant.
Last time I looked cr had some 50% off I think r-sys front and kysrium rear, rear is the same whether is r-sys Slr or kysrium Slr just the front that differs. They should come with a tub also ‘wts’.
