Not taken any children out on bikes, but I would have thought slightly behind and to her right.

    No personal experience though

I've just spent that last few days hunting around for insurance for exactly the same circumstances.

I've just bought a Kangoo van for bike and dog carrying duties and got a bit of a shock on insurance prices.

I ended up with Direct Line who eventually worked out the cheapest, but only because my wife's car and our house insurance is with them.

    Still £200 though………….

Fully comp, wife and me to drive, 10k a year, 6 yrs ncd.

Exctly the same price as my Astra VXR was!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Wouldn't mind, but it's only a 1.5 diesel :-(

They come up quite small on the size I think.

I've got a medium Endura eVENT which replaced a medium Altura jacket. The Altura felt a size up over the Endura and was def more roomy.

I haven't got an MT500, but I've had an Endura Venturi eVENT® Jacket since July last year.

Worn it pretty much everyday for commuting and then mountain biking on my rest days and it hasn't missed a beat.

Really great jacket and hasn't leaked on me depsite the rubbish Isle Of Man weather :-)

Sorry can't comment on the MT500 as such, but it's the same company and if it's as well made as my eVENT; you'll be very happy :-)

Can recomend the hewitt cheviot. Very sturdy and comfortable. Did lejog on mine carrying full camping kit. Paul Hewitt is well regarded for his fitting service.

    +1

I've done just over 4000 miles on mine last year and really can't fault it. Touring, meandering around on my rest days and a daily 20 mile commute to work. It pretty much handles everything.

I ordered mine over the phone giving him the measurements he wanted and it fits spot on.

I'm on the Isle Of Man which is pretty hilly and run it with an XT triple groupset.

You can even pick your own frame colour and alter the spec to suit you.

Have a look at Hewitt Cheviot

Here is a pic of mine :-)

Good to see another Litespeed Looks like an Obed?

pedalhead – pretty certain I would have been riding her then, nothing else gets a look in! Yep, am hoping to organise another Chilterns ride once I have a couple more volunteers for leading and sweeping.

    Yeah it's an Obed :-)

XT groupset with DT hubs, rims, forks and Hope X2's.

    Goes really well :-)

I'm new to the forum, but to carry on with the Litespeed theme :-)

Excuse the mist, it's not your cataracs; it was just very very very foggy.
