My Fizik Gobi is around an 8 out if 10.

My original Flite Ti is a 9 out of 10.

I prefer the slightly narrower profile of the Flite when riding for a few hours.

The back of the Gobi is a bit wider which causes me a few ‘hotspots’ over a few hours.

I find that the key for myself is to make sure that the saddle is completely level.

Soooooo Slooooowww. Tension building? no, that was boredom building.

    This is mine as well.

Went to the flix with some friends and high hopes and found it as interesting as watching paint dry.

My mate and myself were looking at the Boardman site last night after reading the article about them in WMB.

They seem to have a few bikes that aren’t sold in the UK.

I tip our postie at Christmas.

He goes out of his way and has been known to deliver on bank holidays and late on if there is a back log.

He’s a really nice fella who is always good for a chat and he’ll recognise things like the curtains being closed during the day and not knock as he realises I’m on nights etc

I can also tell him if I’m expecting a parcel and he’ll keep a look out for it and make sure it doesn’t sit around the sorting office.

The Park Tools website has advice regarding torque settings, and most component manufacturers list torque specs on their websites.

I’ve used a Norbar torque wrench for the last few years which adjusts between 1 and 20nm.

Thanks guys. They sent me a simple letter getting me to confirm the date of sale and any details. So I’ll reply with what I have

It’ll just be because the new keeper has applied for a new log book and they haven’t had signed notification from the previous keeper; being yourself.

I wouldn’t worry about it, just confirm what details you know.

The important bit is to confirm the date you sold the vehicle, so that you’re not liable for fines.

I’d put it in writing to the DVLA that you sold your vehicle, confirming the date and include any details you have of the new keeper such as his number.

Send it to – DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1BA

It might just be a case that the DVLA want conformation that the new keeper is the ‘new keeper’ and not someone trying to get a log book for your vehicle in their name.

I cycle 7 miles each way and it really doesn’t take that much longer than driving to be honest.

The worst part is waking up early morning, around 5.30am and hearing the wind and rain bouncing off the bedroom window. Once you’ve been out for a couple of mins though and get warmed up; it’s fine.

I work shifts and the only downside for myself is cycling back at 2am after a late shift or at 8am after a 12 hour night; especially if work has been busy.

The other issue is that I can quite often be kept on at work and do a few hours extra, so a 2am finish can end up being a 5 or 6am finish; only to have to cycle back to work 7 hours later on a quick turn around.

If I was working a 9-5 day job, then I couldn’t think of any downsides really.

I do have a really nice cycle along a quiet coastal road, so get really lovely views. I usually see noe more than 5 or 6 cars over the 7 mile trip.I did however have a couple of incidents with cars nearly taking me out, but that was due to me being on the road at 3am and drivers not expecting to see a bike.

I’ve ended up using a single speed mtb for the last year and my maintenance costs have dropped to virtually nothing.

I carry a pair of trousers, shirt and underwear in a rucksack along with a couple of tubes, a few basic tools, a pump and a headtorch. Even though my shirt has been folded up in the bag, it still looks fine when I get to work.

I’d definately recommend doing it though, even cycling just 7 miles each way, I reckon it’s saved me around £20 a week.

I’d have to pick Point Break and Heat, both well used DVD’s in our house.

It might be worth asking either on the weightweenies forum or the MTBR forum as well.

I’d have said an SLR myself going by the shape.

The fix-a-chip / smart repair companies are really good at fixing small paint issues, but I suppose it depends on how big / visible the damage is and what the value of the car is.

If the car is worth a fair amount of ££££’s, it might be worth getting it done.

I definately wouldn’t let myself loose with a touchup pen, they’re pretty useless at dealing with chips etc and most of the time make them more visible.

For some builders, I’d imagine that you could be looking at over £2500+

I reckon a Moots for example would be around £3k (ish)

Enigma are really helpful and might be worth an e-mail to give you an idea.

I’ve been looking forward to downloading this from I-Tunes today.

The teaser video that’s been going around made it look fantastic.

I’ll no doubt still download it despite the slightly negative reviews.

I usually have 3 or 4 mugs during the morning, then around the same in the afternoon before then usually polishing off another 2 mugs in the evening.

    That’s potentially 10 mugs a day!!!

I’d imagine that I’m well over the recommended limit!!!

If I have a drink, it’s usually my default choice.

Nah. I’ll just shoot him 3 or 4 times in the face.

You should at least come up with a typical James Bond quote once you’ve eliminated him…. 😀

Hmmm… The Living Daylights was on the shortlist.

Just remembered that my brother in law still has my Quantum Of Solace. I may have to eliminate him.

Obviously you realise that you can’t just eliminate him straight away. You need to keep him hostage and very slowely explain and demonstrate how your elimination will take place, therefore giving him enough time to escape.

Not to sure on specific models, but my DHB bib tights from Wiggle have lasted well, are comfy and weren’t too dear.

Got the same but from merlin, at that price they look like an absolute bargain. Check out the crc price for the rear hub alone!

DT240’s are really great hubs, definately a bargain 8)

Those wheels are around £470 at Merlin!!!

I’d go for Hope hubs myself just purely because the ones on my bike have been faultless over the last 18 months.

I had XT hubs on a bike back in 2008 and to be honest the bearings and seals didn’t hold up that well.

The customer service at Hope is really great as well.

A set of Hope Hoops on Wiggle is £267 with the extra 10% off, not too sure if that’s the cheapest though.

i want one for commuting to work when i can’t be bothered with the cycle.

Depending on where you’re going to park it, don’t get anything too fancy or trendy as scooters are really easy to steal or damage.

When I was looking for mine, I thought the Honda Lead looked boring enough to be left alone.

I never had any issues with it being stolen or damaged, but to be honest that could have just been down to good luck.

I had a Honda Lead scooter for a while to save using my sports bike all the time.

It would do 60mph and cost me buttons to run.

I even had a pizza delivery box on the back 😀

Very cheap to run, the weather protection was pretty good as your legs are placed inboard, the underseat storage is huge and easy to park.

    Mine was a 100cc but the new one[/url] is a 110cc.

I’m the same with needles, I start to feel clammy and light headed.

Having said that, it’s only with needles I know are going to be used on me; it’s not seeing needles in general. 😀
