If you think race kings look sketchy look at Kenda 8 blocks now they look like they’d be good for nothing accept tarmac! when in fact they grip like billy O. Mind you I am soft southern sh1te and only really ride the ridgeway, swinley and welsh trail centres 🙂

Try and shumt more! Odd I know, but i wasn’t really riding poorly yesterday at Swinley, shunted realised that it didn’t really hurt and that was it! rode much better!

Born and inbred there! Not such a bad place, it’s a great base I always thought, not too far from something interesting, I mean the coast is only 45 mins away and you’re only ever half an hour from some good trails and UK bike park is about 25 miles and has great riding!

The town centre is a bit run down nowadays but some OK shops. Few good pubs Moloko, Cluedo (mates bar) terrible night clubs (went downhill when concordes shut IMO)

Must recommend the Wyndham Arms for real ale and a bit of celebrity spotting ! (Phil from time team drinks there OH yes!)

Yeti 575? They’re sold with Flaot 32’s so I guess a 140mm fork would be fine

Yeah, you say that but I ran Ignitors on a demo 575 last weekend and was nowhere with regards to grip, admittedly i hadn’t set the bike up correctly but all the same thought Ignotors would be just about spot on! And before you all start with the “it’s man made blah blah blah” you must admit that some of the short climbs on the twrch trail are pretty technical for a trail centre?!

OK here’s a tip degrease the area then with a fine mist of water spray the area you’re gonna tape, apply tape on to wet surface and then with a plastic edge push the water out this carries the air bubbles out, it is tricky but effective the guys at work sticker the cars this way and you don’t get any bubbles

Like HTTP said, any industrial powder coater will do it for you, if you strip the frame yourself, for around 30 quid just look in the rather archaic Yellow pages

Was building a gearbox to go out to the next test and was waiting for the 1 off test differential hub (4ks worth) to turn up that was being machined/inspected over (a friday) night by some poor bleeders, received the hub at 7 am on the saturday morning, built the diff and was walking to rig to fit to the gearbox, on lifting it to the gearbox to fit it I dropped the fooker!!! Yep and the only damaged part was the one off hub!!! Opps….

Boss didn’t see the funny side, in fact called me a c@*t. He had a point!
