I broke mine in september, started by using my road bike to get back to fitness, then went to Aston hill for a morning of DH about 3 weeks out of cast, no real issues but I'm a manual worker and that was good physio. Just do a few short rides you won't break it just riding along, you'll be surprised how quick it sorts itself out. Mine aches in the damp cold weather but not massivley…
