    Update; after 2 weeks of silence Canyon responded today to opine that the damage wasn’t a warranty issue and I would need to buy the replacement parts. I’m keen to hear from anyone else that’s suffered this problem as the front mech mount looks really flimsy to me?

    I bought a Canyon Strive recently but the front mech snapped off on my second ride. Canyon has opined this is not a warranty issue so I wondered if anyone else has suffered the same as it looks like a potential design issue to me as the bespoke mounting is very flimsy?

    Just to update people….its been well over a week since I reported the issue to Canyon. They responded immediately asking for photos, which I sent. They then sent a technical drawing and asked me to identify part numbers for the broken bits, which I did. That was all a week ago. There’s been radio silence from them ever since, which is a bit disappointing given how expensive the bike was (Its a Strive ESX 9.0 SL). There are other posts around commenting on Canyon’s poor customer / warranty service, and on broken front mechs so it’s a pity really.
