I'm going to pour you a pint of concrete because you need to harden the **** up!

Yeah and staff training. Insurance is massive, holds, ropes etc aren't cheap either. Then hire gear, then the payment systems and background stuff. If successfull it can make you a lot though.

E-mail the guys at Craggy Island in guildford. They are very friendly and now either have two or three. But I know it costs a lot, almost into the millions.

I think lycra makes me look sexy.

Yeah that is true, maybe small payment until then. In fact it might even be until they're 16. Apparently it's pretty hard to get a job at 13 now.

At 13 my parents told me if I wanted money to get a job, so I did. Most valuable lesson ever.

I saw him with coldplay on Wednesday, really good set. It was great when they performed together. 99 problems was very good.

I ride 6 times a week and love it! I also race road which is just as fun.

It's nice not having to cart your bike around in the car and gets you pretty fit. So do it.

Use the guns, wear the leather jacket and scalf, cut the bum patches out the skinny jeans.

    Who are you:

Not mine but a mate’s dad, it still cracks me up:

Dad: "I love the taste of woman"
    Mate: "Dad, That's disgusting"
Dad: "That son is because you're licking the wrong hole"

Because it is a lot of fun, has character and isn't the same as everyone elses.
It can be a pain but I love it.

I'm not, but do love the French life style. If I have money when I retire then I'm off to the Pyrenees. The main problem is the way they test for epo. I am not a sports scientist so don't know a better way.
It would be nice for to tour to return to the days of LeMond and Hinault. Don't get me wrong this year’s tour was amazing and I'm sure next year will be too. But it would nice to have a tour that’s about the cycling.

Don't worry, I mentioned it the other day.

No, I just don't like Lance’s attitude to doping and life in general. That came very apparent in this tour especially the way he treaded Contador, who I highly doubt is clean either.
I’m off training for TTs at 2pm 🙂

If I can recall one downhill cup winner a few years ago got his title taken away because he went and had a joint after he found out he won and got caught. Does that count as doping?

Cycle paths are worse then roads! They are about 1 foot wide, covered in glass and full of slow cyclists. I'd prefer the road any day.

I don't think I'm the only one, when you read into it a bit, about how the blood oxygen levels work and Lances previous team mates it looks pretty suspicious. Let alone beating confirmed dopers 7 times.

No cyclist should be bigger than the tour.

That's also why Lance refused to get the samples retested early last year.

Everyone knows he does it, but when you bring billions to cycling and are bigger then the tour you can get away with it.

Haha, I'd never pay and I highly doubt most riders would. How about taxing road runners and horses too?

I've tried the ice, got back rather drunk and work up to both my shoes in the freezer. But it has't worked. I might try and polish over it and see it doesn't go after a while.

I do, just put on Grace Kelly.

I thought you meant Lance Armstrong wining all those tours and not getting caught doping.

It's good, I can talk to my mates down south whist being in Glasgow and organise things for free. Instead of using the phone. Just ignore all the funny invites and you're ok.

Yes he still has Roberts King of the Mountains jersey mounted on the wall. Also a lovely collection of old steel frame, which are sadley not for sale.

It's on salt market street just before the river on the right, coming out of the city.

OK, the Longbridge workers maybe didn't make the best products

My MG is 37 years old and still going very well. I'd like you to find a modern car that will survive that long.

Have you tried Billy Bilsland? Lovely guy I think he has a few meridas but I'm not too sure.

Unless it's a TT bike that is just wrong.

Yoda that is because the way they decided whether they have failed or not is odd. If they have a hemocrit level of over 50% (I think) it is classed as a fail, but you can have a natural level of under 50% and top it up to 50 without failing. Has David Miller ever failed, no. Neither have many more of the convicted dopers.

Scotland Holland is tonight, my commute is past the stadium at 5.45pm and I felt like I was in a war zone with the amount of uniforms, shouting and police.

    I won't be watching either.

Some of the issues they raise need to be discussed openly in public and not just swept away because they are seen as un pc like using reverse discrimination to fill university places and places in the work force. I do not agree with them, but it annoys me even more when creditable politicians refuse to talk about the things they bring up simply because they are the BNP.

I've just run at 10km in sub 40 minutes 🙂 there weren't many people out in Glasgow green. Maybe because they had the Glasgow run this morning and they are all still tired.

I have ridden a motorbike for a few years on road and many more years offroad before that. If you drive a car and can stay on the bike you will be fine, it is very easy.

It is much more about road use then bike handling, and you have the majority of this you know from driving. What they don't tell you and you should be aware of are dangers like wet white lines, man whole covers etc.

Bring a helmet, good gloves, good jacket and decent shoes. Motorbike boots or walking type shoes. Maybe a flask of tea, you get pretty chilly on your first time out.

Yes miles better. Better races, better riders, better crashes.

Superbikes also good, for viewing quality 125s are where it's at.
