Well it was rotten weather but still turned up for a lap and a quick chat. Was more than happy to fill out a comments form- gave me a chance to give some (positive) feedback.
Nice to see some signage going up though- took me a few visits to get the hang of it but that was a while ago when a lot of it was still being finished..

I had a zefal no-mud to start with, it seemed to do the job until I went properly off-road with it then it was a pita so ditched it.
I just clean and lube it after most rides now..

A good friend of mine committed suicide almost a year ago to the day. Still think about him most days, still miss him.
He had a lot of stuff going on and (I think) couldn’t see any other way to deal with it. Still grieve for the friendship we could have had.
Seriously, talk to someone, family, friends, gp, the Samaritans.
    Please, just do it.

I wouldn’t be concerned about this, but for the fact that the big S are dropping most of their 26 full sussers for 29ers. Will only be offering 26″ on basic budget full sussers and downhill bikes afaik.. I realise that 29ers are flying out the door in the US but not here, despite that fact, they’re pretty much not gonna sell a decent 26″trail bike from now on.
    That concerns me.

To be fair to the Germans though they have proportional representation so in the last couple of decades the bigger parties have needed smaller ones like the greens to help form a government..

Christ- ill be lucky to get a pension of £1000 a month when I retire.. Mind you, that won’t be for decades, and I prob won’t have a pension by then, despite the tens of thousands I’ll have paid into it by then..
But then, that’s the way it should be eh? After all- folk in the private sector allowed themselves to be shafted so why shouldn’t I be too?
Agree with the comments above though- this isn’t a Labour Party any more, just a bunch of career politicians who are afraid to have any ideas different from the current government.. Opposition my arse.

Something from one of the big manufacturers between three and five years old- depending on milage, condition and servicing.
Will have lost a fair chunk of depreciation but should still have a few (hopefully)trouble free years ahead. .

I drive 7 meter plus wagons all day. No problems on singletrack roads, have got them through some tight gaps at speed :D. Parking can be tricky sometimes but I usuallyy just dump it in the road and stick the hazards on although as noted above sensors and a camera are brilliant- especially on thr bigger ones we have. You get used to the size.
Ps, my wagon has got blue lights a siren but similsr to what youre talking about, i prob worfy about economy less thsn if it was me fuelling it.

Used to ride the 12 miles into work then have breakfast once I got in. Up early one morning and had my porridge before I left. Rode better, fastet and felt better afterwards so always try and eat simething light beforehand now.

Tech m4s here. Great brakes, still feel great after a couple of years use. Could prob do with a bleed now but still have plenty of stopping in them. Was advised to get mounts faced and get them mounted properly from new and theyve been great since!
Had various deores and avids prior to these..

Still, horrible decision to have to make, fair play to her.

Had a couple of focuses (foci?) and they have been pretty good. Both 1.6 petrols. Seems to be an issue with water collecting in the spark plug wells and corroding the plugs, also had an alternator go at about 50k but apart from that no other problems. The 1.6 pulls ok but is never going to set the tarmac alight. If I was going for an estate with its load-lugging potential I’d get at least a 1.8.

Only have one. Sold a frame and 2 others to help fund the current one.
Wish I could have as large and diverse a quiver* as some noted above but the reality is that I have a mortgage and family to feed so they come first ahead of my hobby. Bit grown up and all that but some things are just about more important than riding bikes.

Proper amazed at that. Danny Mac seems very polished these days with high production values..
That was better though bit more down to earth, lots of high risk stuff-the concrete pipe was impressive as was the wee bike.
