Tmob calls the limits “fair usage” or something similar..
Even when I go over the limit I still have access.. Just can watch YouTube and similar stuff.. Can still check emails, Facebook etc..
Do they not send you a text when you’re near and at your limit?? £600 seems a bit steep- you got one of those Swarovski phones or something??

It’s hard going. The first few weeks you’ll just be concentrating on trying to stay awake/existing.
My boys two and a half and I’m getting more time for riding now. Shifts dont help either. Shame we have another one due in September!
Floated the idea of a kiddy trailer a while back but the wife shot it down.
    Congratulations btw!!

Physio? Resistance band/s?? Have they not discussed these with you or has your local physio dept been privatised already and you’re not poorly/rich enough to be a priority case yet?

Turn it into a drinking game. Any of the above noted = a shot.
I’m sure it’ll become fairly entertaining after about 15 minutes or so!
Works for me when the missus is watching eastenders..

It’s hard isn’t it! Our wee boy is 3 in nov, had him sorted with a good routine. As above, bath, brush teeth, story, bottle and bed..
He want well about 6 wks ago, up and down during the night coughing, crying etc..
Because he hadn’t been eating during the day we’d been giving him a bottle during the night (after months of not needing it) and now the wee bugger wants it every night!
I’m on my 7 nights at the mo so unfortunately my wife has had to be getting up with him. Will be booting that right into touch on my first night back though..
The wee bugger has been going through the normal routine, then saying he’s going to cry during the night so he can get more milk!!

Was thinking about this the other day.. Is it possible to drill a small(ish) elliptical hole near the bottom of the seat tube without casing catastrophic failure and/or death??

Never heard of chipboard being used as a sub-floor..
Seen it used as floorboards in modern flats but if any tiles were laid it’s been a ply subfloor laid..

Could be worse. We could be paying £150 mil to lease (lease!) a plane that could theoretically be bought and converted to a tanker for, say, ooo- £50 mil!? Wait, hang on a sec..! 14 of them and we won’t even own the bloody things!!

My bikes have always been bought when possible, at a discount, then upgraded over years.
I’ll admit that my current 575 frame was bought on my credit card but that was discounted and only after I sold two other bikes and various bits to pay for it. Upgrades to its current spec have taken place over years- christmas and birthday money is saved and goes towards new forks, wheels etc when needed. And even then it’s bargains that I’ve been buying. Made do with older bits until upgrades possible.
Taken 2 years to get my yeti to where I want it but it’s only cost me about £2k max whereas, if I’d just bought it all at once id have been looking at maybe £3k plus easy.

I do a seven on/seven off on constant nights. Half seven till seven am. I have blackout curtains and the wife’s good at going out with my young son during the day when I’m sleeping..
I use a sleep mask but no ear plugs, I find I can get to sleep pretty easily as long as I haven’t had tea or coffee in the last couple hours of the shift. Just sleep much better with the mask on, got used to wearing it pretty quickly.
On my last day I sleep for a few hours and force myself to get up. Zombied all day after but means I can go to bed at a normal time and sleep ok that night.

My rc40s were great, had them about 5 years, serviced twice and still worked perfectly when I sold them.
Light, stiff, and we’re great on my old enduro.
If you can get s good pair I’d recommend them.

    What jambo said!
Honestly though, prior to being married and a dad..
Routine, exercise and relaxation. Oh aye, lay off the fizzy juice/coffee etc in the evening..
I was pretty bad for sleeping when I was younger, going to sleep really late, sometimes not going to sleep at all before work. Then knackered all day, sleep all day if not at work, then repeat.
Had to force myself not to go to bed when I got home from work so that I wouldn’t be up at 2am.
Was drinking a lot of fizzy juice, too much stuff going through my head, not enough exercise for the old endorphins to relax me..
    You
    Get the idea.

We have something similar in our ambs up here in Scotland. ECS I think. Need the Pt’s name date of birth and address, and we have to get permission from them to access it (or have a bloody good reason to) but its been handy for us.
Just has basic info on it- nok, medicines, allergies and gp practice..
Suprisingly useful for drunks, dementia Pts, the stupid, and even the unconscious pt if we can get some info from a wallet or something..
Re the comments about gps leaving full notes on a Pts history- that doesn’t always happen- some right dodgy ones working for nhs24 up here!
Edit- most aren’t “dodgy” but been to a few jobs where the Gp has made a right arse of things.

That has also been mentioned to me!! Anyways, mine smell, and not just of child labour and unicorns tears. Can think of no other way these could be made, and shipped halfway across the world!!
Apologies for rotten typing above- I call them nightshift typos..

Hmm. Don’t have mine in front but the black lowers are all black.
Logos, torx screws.. All present and correct!
Anyone else’s smell a bit whiffy when you first got them??
I have to admit, I fancy an all black and all white pair so might need to try ordering another pair with the opposit combo colour!

Someone recommended visionarylenses (US ebay) on another thread on the same topic I believe.
they look decent for the price but I havent used them myself so cannot confirm!
back OT- got my white/black jawbones today after about 18 days-arguments about UV protection for the price they look fantastic, although one of the rubber leg boots does say livestrong on it- only one mind!!

Stayed in a nice three bedroom apartment in santa eualia last year. 30 secs from the beach, nice big modern flat. Only had 1 bathroom though was v nice overall.
Maybe not quite what you want but we had our in laws and our 1.5 yr old with us and was great. Santa eualia isn’t a big party town, caters for tourists but more Spanish than Spanglish.. Lots of nice tapas bars, filled with locals. Plenty of stuff to do and a nice beach too.
Can recommend Oliver from ibizamtb if you’re wanting a good day (or more) on the bike btw- do a search on here for reviews..

I was like that a lot when I lived alone.. Had a lot of stuff going round in my head, junk food and urn bru didnt help either.
Used to stay up late, sleep all day and repeat.. Not good for my state of mind at all.
I’m married now with a wean- still tired during the day but have no trouble sleeping at night at all for some reason!!

Done something similar on a tenement roof in Edinburgh many many years ago. No rope, telly aerial needed put back up.. Twin peaked roof so out the roof hatch a few feet onto the peak and in between both peaks to the chimney.
Absolutely one of the stupidest things I have done (ok, top 5) but the reception was great afterwards..

What’s with all the bumps at CV now.? Is so you can pump the trail?? Seems to be all pump and no circumstance..
Don’t see how that will help newbies to the sport either..
