Cool! Looks like a nice pump track..
Sorry, only joking- if Dafydd Davis says its that good then I guess it must be decent!

Toe/ankle lifts either up and hold or press up stylee.
Or resistance bands round the ball of your foot sitting down foot outstretched in front of you.
Er- didn’t you have your ankle fused though???
I read the thread saying you didn’t need it fused now????

Jings- that looks to be a very talented team. Nice to see a ladies team with good backing.

Brilliant bike. Replaced my 04 enduro sworks with one as I was starting to try bigger drops (not too much bigger) and enjoy the downs more. Saying that it weighs about the same sand climbs as well/if not better.
One of these days I will fit a bigger fork though!
I have had no swingarm probs at all on my 2010 all carbon back end but there’s prob a few on here who have no doubt.

Good to hear its not just my FIL that tells the same stories over and over again..
He drinks like a fish though- tried to keep up a few times but just couldn’t..to be fair he’s had much more practice!

Hmm- didn’t notice any probs with the jockeys- mine was straight out of the box and on about 15 minutes..
Had googled it and some folk had had similar issues with yhe clutch being the problem..
I didn’t want to cause any damage and poss invalidate the warranty so sent it straight back to that large Irish retailer I mentioned. Hopefully it’s an easy fix and I csn get it back ASAP! Haven’t had a ride since before Christmas and am itching to get up to Cathkin!

Had the exact same problem with mine. Bought new from a big Irish retailer, set up fine, pedalled twice around the locker room (it’s big) and realised was having the same problem. Have sent it back to them as I didn’t want to take it apart and bork it some more!

Wish they could get the hang of growing bones back.. Then I could maybe get rid of all the metalwork in my legs!
Still reckon it’ll happen in my lifetime..

Had a set of rc40s from 2005 for 5 years, little bit of stiction initially but still worked perfectly after 5 years, two services and little maintenance when I sold them.
    Awesome forks.

Initially I would agree but where there’s faded writing on the road, there’s usually a small sign on a lamppost behind the space describing the restriction?

Spando- has the side door come off yet? My work invested heavily in an entire fleet of Peugeots v similar to yours and our mechs hate them!! Changing the clutch is a two day job apparently..

Get a full house report and like others have said, go over it with a fine tooth comb, take a torch and have a good look in the loft, basement and any nooks and crannies.
If you’re not gonna chap on the neighbour a doors, a good nosey at their gardens from the upstairs is another way to get an idea what they’re like.
No matter how perfect it is, be prepared to walk away. There literally are plenty of fish in the sea!

Hmm. Woke up screaming after one- that’s cos I REALLY needed some morphine after getting my leg pinned and plated.. Was on it for 5 days then df118s for the pain afterwards so tbh, I don’t really remember if there was many after effects..
Actually, one of my shins was bald and it took ages to grow back.. Something electronic they attached to stop the bleeding I think? Hopefully someone can explain..

My good mate at work, Dunky. Rip mate. Hope they have a pub wherever you are..
Deal with this every day at work, easier to stay detached when its someone you don’t really know. Spoke to him a coupla days before he did it, he was expected back at his work the week afterwards and although reluctant, seemed ok- will never be sure if that’s what tipped him over the edge.

Mojo?? Can’t remember the 160 name- HD? Or Go for the special blend and upgrade the fork, shock and brakes with the rest of the budget? Just remembered the special blend is 1 and 1/8th headtube..
Would love an SB 66 but even the alu frame is pretty steep..

Hmm.. In order- paper round, helping Dad in a shop taking washing machines and hoovers apart, McDonald’s, student nurse for a year in Dundee/Perth. Back to Glasgow, care assistant, stock dept for Asda, another go at Nursing in Edinburgh this time, bar job, care assistant, broken leg put paid to it, job in a call centre, promoted to TL but contract cancelled not long after. Back to Glasgow, charity work, doorman, call taker for The Pru, claims handler then fraud dept. Managed 7 years with them, three changes of owners, under a lot of pressure towards the end, stressed etc..
Friend suggested the ambulance service, applied and got in. Found I quite enjoyed it, trying to get my arse in gear and get the para training done.
Have had ups and downs along the way, good times and bad. Happily married now with kids and a mortgage although hardly any time to ride my bike these days.. Oh well.
