Do you support a football team? Any at all?
If their main rivals lose, does that not make you happy?
    It’s a bit like that I guess..

How much is this Enduro service that you speak of??
And what level of service does one get for said amount?
    Just interested like..
And congrats on getting above ground btw!

    Standard policy wording-
through a preferred supplier, but we agree to pay a cash settlement instead the amount we pay will reflect:-
    • any discounts we may have received had we replaced your contents or
    • the amount it would have cost us
had we repaired or reinstated your buildings and contents based on their current energy ratings.
If no equivalent replacement is available then we will pay the full replacement cost of the item with no discount applied.

Suppose you could argue that wheelies cannot offer an equivalent replacement- ie, an on-one etc..

From memory from 5+ years ago when I worked for a big insurer if wheelies couldn’t replace it with a new equivalent then we would usually pay out to the full value less xs.
Our preferred route was to get a quote from an lbs then see if we could get a discount from them and pay the cheque to them- everyone’s happy.
In saying that I’m not sure what m+s’ policy wording is regarding sports equipment being replaced- should be available on their website.

Used to be go hard or go home but to be honest, these days it’s more of the latter than the former..

We have our SORT team who have defenders, (a few) four wheel drive merc wagons, some others have auto snow chains/beaters as mentioned above. We’ve also had the coastguard and traffic help us last year when it was bad.
And, if we are in the middle of nowhere, we can call up the service helicopter or even the navy or coastguard helipcopters..

As above- we’ve got a similar size to yours but with a solid wall down one side.
The comments about a dividing door are deffo right- ours can be very cold in winter unless the hearings on, and very warm in summer. There’s no way I would have an open space- it’s also nice to close the door and escape the noise of the house too sometimes!
We have 2 good sized rads as well- one at either end.

    I noticed going from 130 9mm qr to 150 20mm maxle.
Not all the time but when dropping into rutted corners I noticed.
And that was coming from a
set of Pace Rc40s which were supposed to be very stiff anyway.

Finished nightshift, came home. Went to bed for a few hours, wife and her mum, aunts and sisters went for high tea after opening cards and presents.
Did the chores, washed the dishes, cooked the dinner, wife sleeping beside me on the couch now.
Not the best due to work interfering a bit but know I’m lucky to have what I have so its not so bad.

Think ill get a couple in the morning.. My m+s policy states they just have to be locked to an immovable object.. I think!
Pretty sure it doesn’t state it has to be a gold/silver rated lock.. I’m sure someone can confirm though!

That’s what it sounds like to me to.
My mate nicknamed my pool room/garage annexe/back bit the rumpus room but the wife wasn’t too happy with the term so it was kb’d before it became widely accepted.

Actually, just noticed Velvet Shave ltd in the background of your pic- proper lol.
But in all seriousness, well done- cant say I know the market that well but to make a sucess of that with so many competitors must feel awesome. Good work fella.

Googled the one man and his jar but can’t get any proper links to it.. I initially though it would be a one man solo version of the two girl/one cup classic..
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve gleaned the basic storyline I reckon… Just has a twist.

    Patients, not customers!
Martin- agree with what you’re saying bud- meant more management/admin taking up staff’s time as opposed to the ole too many managers cliché.

    Hmmmmm. Interesting.

I’d say being given increasingly difficult targets to meet while staff levels drop probably also contributed a fair bit to the current issues.. Plus the increasing levels of admin/levels of managers..

The 70/80s are long past but in the current climate I’m glad that unions are there to fight for and defend their members..
Not a fan of them in general but still have an important role to play imho.
    (Edit- unions in general btw..)

The Serbian film is as bad as it gets.. Not going to get into the moral debate about it but I almost had to keep watching to see how much worse it could get. Then it gets worse.
Centipede was ok, haven’t bothered about the second one though.

All the things you mentioned are good, but if you’ve got a ton of stuff going on in your head you’ll never get back to sleep.
If you’re awake like that concentrate on something, focus on it until all the other stuff you’re thinking about has gone.
Sounds strange but I used to playback a run down spooky woods in my head. Usually once I’d done 2 or3 runs I was relaxed enough to go to sleep.
Exercise is also good- distracts you and releases lots of stuff that helps you sleep.
If you have a lot of stress or other stuff going on it might be good to speak to someone qualified about coping with/managing your stress?
Anyways, nightshift last night and knackered!
    Good night.
