Hmm. If I was having problems deciding something big I’d be speaking to my family or friends to get their perspective before even thinking about going to a clairvoyant for advice.
Actually, I wouldn’t go at all to be honest.

Broken toe or foot do you think? Not much to be done for a broken toe unless its the big one afaik, as long as the toes are pink and still have sensation and can be moved you should be right till morning. If there’s pins and needles or numbness, they swell right up or go blue it might be best to get it looked at tonight.
Only a techie I’m afraid but next best thing to a para.
If you or your wife are concerned at all then I would give nhs24/111 a bell and maybe pop in to an out of hours. If an a/e is closer or easier by all means go there- you might have a long wait but at least you might get an X-ray to confirm if there’s a breakage, and poss some painkillers.
In the meantime RICE is good too.

Albania a few years ago, went to the main swimming complex in Tiranna, prev only used by the ruling party members/family. Now only frequented by the wealthy.
Gents toilets is an open tiled area with (Turkish?) toilet rims at floor level. Have to squat down and aim to get anything in there. Fair enough. Only the showers are right beside it in the same tiled area so whilst you’re having a shower the locals are coming in and out, squatting to take care of their ablutions then casually walking past on their way back outside. Weird but all part of the charm of the place.

Very nice. Doesn’t stand out much from the landscape which is nice.

My mil just going through the same- had the op and reconstruction- had spread to one of the three lymph nodes they took out. Seeing oncologist tomorrow to see what the script is. Fingers crossed.
Glad it all went well with your missus.

Speak to union rep- hopefully they’ll stick up for your missus but doesn’t always happen like that in the Nhs.

    Pics?
Edit- have heard a lot of good stories about spesh warranties.
As long as its genuine JRA then I imagine it’ll be a replacement swingarm, if they can’t supply that you might be looking at a new replacement bike.
I had probs with spokes breaking on a brand new rockhopper many years ago- after the second one went I spoke to the local spesh dealer they advised me that there had been probs with a batch of wheels and rebuilt both wheels with new spokes foc.. Happy days.
Hopefully folk will be along to share their tales of happiness and joy on a similar subject!

Kama sutra on Sauchiehall Street isn’t bad. Bombay Blue on hope street does a very good buffet, any of the wee curry shops are good- think there’s one just at the back of Cowcaddens/Garnethill. Balbirs is very good too but the only one I know is in the west end.
Sure there’s plenty of others though!

It’s widely accepted in our control that we mostly get a lot of rubbish from Nhsd. And they work in the same call centre!
Keeps us in a job I suppose..

Had a read through that document and couldnt see it saying anywhere that an engine warning light was a fail- stability control, power streering etc aye, but no note of engine management light on there.

Cheers aracer- having an email chat with holmesey at the mo but if that doesn’t pan out the plan is to go with the basic cruz bars which are square. Not using cycle carriers (yet), the issue is we went away on a day trip last weekend and the babies pram and bag took up a fair whack of the boot so carrying a weeks worth of holiday stuff would be too tight for four of us we reckon. Sourced a cheap roofbox but still have to get bars but hopefully that’ll happen soon.
    Cheers for the advice though.

Cheers stumpy and gdub. Been on roofbox and saw the cheap ones.. That’s what we’re prob going to go for.
Had a look at that eBay shop and all a bit too dear! Not much local on eBay apart from the basic sets and still got delivery..
I’d just did a quick search on here to see if there was anything in the offing, saw this thread and thought I’d ask holmsey as I do genuinely have a coupla decent malts in the house just now and would have saved a few quid..
Really appreciate your help though- ta much.

Holmesey, due to an expanding family I’m trying to sort out some cheap roofbars at the mo, coincidently, I also have a decent bottle of malt going spare just now. I was looking at cheaper bars online as thule were out of our price range..
Would you be willing to come to an agreement at all? I know the mazda and Ford attachements are similar.
Cheeky I know, but was searching on here to see if anyone was selling any cheap bars and this thread came up. Have a roofbox at the mo but need someway to mount it so we can use it for an upcoming holiday next month.
Email in profile if you’re interested.
    Ta.

Notes that coatsey prob works for Wheelies- not a bad thing btw.
Was on the phone to them all the time when I worked for Pru/Directline, can’t remember the chap’s name I always dealt with but they usually always gave us and the insured pretty good service.
Once you’ve spoken to them it shouldn’t be too much hassle to sort it out I’m guessing.
(Pedant mode) aren’t they based in Swansea though?(pendant mode).

Stopping at the side, or worse in the middle of the road can be dangerous..
Especially if oncoming traffic decides to do the same thing at roughly the point in the road.

IOM comment was just an initial thought- as always, Ben seems to have formed much more constructive points than me.
Not the Edinburgh defense btw but re the comment about the Queen, is there not talk of keeping her head of state as well? In a similar fashion to other countries in the Commonwealth?

Isle of Man uses the pound doesn’t it? Not technically part of the uk though? Own parliament, laws, currency?
Possibly doesn’t contribute quite as much revenue to HM govt though..

Cassette maybes? Tubeless? Tyre choice also. Rp23 or something air related for the shock.
31-32lbs for that isn’t bad! Maybe lop another puns or two off with all of the above but would be a hefty outlay as already advised!
