i really dont understand this 4am thing.
If im up its cos i couldnt sleep, but at 4oclock it should just be kicking in nicely, even on a bad night
and its the same wherever i am in the world.
fine, sounds great if youre that kind of person, but not here, not me

can you get a rat cam app? one that recognises a rat, and sends hypersonic martian waves at it, or goes ‘beep beep, youre a rat, go away,”and electrifies the place

same same. I want to feed the hedgehog, but the rat takes the food.
There was a rat problem before i moved in here
Last year the hedgehogs came evry night, even got one in the kitchen
I stopped putting food out for now hoping ratty will go walkies and not come back
The plan is for a clear plasric tub upside down with a hole just big enough for the hedgehog, and a wall/baffle inside so there is only one way in and out,as rats are supposedly more reluctant to go where they can be seen and cornered.

king goblin is about my favourite beer, but only sometimes does it taste right, like the taste isnt quite there, and imm never sure if its my tastebuds wrong or the beer itself.
More likely its something like zilog said, about it not being looked after properly

Id sooner a CRF300, the crf250l has been around 10 years or so, so mechanics know how it works and honda parts easy to come by.
In thailand its been one of the few dual purpose machines that are legally available, so there must be lots of accessories to beef them up for the jungle.

Why do we need a head of state?
Is it because, if we divide the world up into us and them, then we need to be on top, but, if we are all equal, then we cant divide the world into us and them. Therefore a head of state is required. So you can have a pecking order.
If there were no poor people, who would keep the rich rich?

Why do we need a state?

This guy does a lot of smartwatch sleep etc tests, including instinct – garmin sleep review
Although i got the new fitbit inspire 2 based on these, and a lot of days it has failed to collect data, or 3hours sleep is not enough data to process, and i feel that a lot of hours ive been lying in bed thinking but it counts it as sleep.
Also you need a subscription for the pro level results, which dont seem to tell me much i didnt know already

that campark one looks almost exactly like my old Apeman H86, but they all look the same.
Id get the noglo LEDs anyway
video quality is much better on the browning

wildcams are a bit of a minefield

I have 3 Brownings, including the new patriot, but endless problems with them. Also they eat batteries unless you get the lithium nonrechargeables, which arent cheap. Great videos though. They are often available cheap though on ebay

Also theyre not very secure, and need a bit of convincing to point in the right direction

One of my hedgehogs has recently returned, although how the palstic feeding lids have disappeared/got to the neighbours garden/dark side of the shed is a mystery to me. Im sure it wasnt the local cats

I have a security cam cam whichdoes its job, but not good quality, and a hassle to review the footage, and set off by rain, dust, insects.
Before i had a dome cam with tracking,it would follow the badgers around, but quality ws bad

I found giving up coffee, and taking tyrosine helped a lot
Try to zoom out and see the bigger picture, when you get stressed about something
Dont try running away from your feelings, theyll only come back.Stay with them, then you can understand their place
often it makes sense to me,not to try to be a success, because if i cannot be happpy now, i can never be happy, so i need to accept my circumstances, and only then can things improve. stop fighting the present, if tomorrow only exists in your mind, leave it. The brain will take care of itself

“Who ever heard of a deer forest with trees?” being a quote from the Caledonia book from a gamekeeper speaking about it.

A very interesting bit in ‘The book of Trespass’ tells how the english population were foragers/hunters etc in the forests, until William the conqueror installed his ‘landowners’, who ,to make money selling deer meat, cut rides through the forests and banned the ‘peasants’ from foraging,so they could hunt more easily. So the people had to find other source of food/shelter so had to work for a landowner.

My worry is that if the grouse moors get shut down, the shooters will move down south, and takeover the remainder of the woods for more shoots

ive nbever seen a beaver, but would love to
i went to that site in Derbyshire, but no signs of them, from what i could gather, theyre so far from the hides that noone sees them.
also I went to look for the ones in Forest of Dean, but the vegetation on the site was quite high at the time so i didnt see them either.
I read there’s some near ssnettisham but ive no idea if the public can see them.
there is another place (reserve) that does tours but i dont remember the name, and no guarantees of seeing on
    Im in northants

The original battery seemed fine, was running well but there seemed to be some kind of voltage drop overnight, but as it was after the first really cold night that it didnt run properly, i got the new battery, the old one was worn out.
The instrument cluster is a common fault, there were dry joints on it, i did get fault codes implying non or faulty communications between units, which have gone now, so the instrument cluster must have been a problem

isnt the rfid tag(??) in the key body, not the metal blade, so i can braze it safely?

originally it was just abit too slow until the turbo kicked in, berlingo kind of slow

It looks like i fixed the instruments, as the only fault codes now are for anti-theft/PATS
so hopefully I can clear the fault codes and the immobiliser system will not prevent it from starting.

I dont see how the broken key will stop it from working as long as i can turn it.
Is it possible to remove the ignition barrel and start it, with the key in?

    alric

Resoldered dash went back in, but now it wont turn over, no click, or nothing.
Is that because of the immobiliser?
I tried to start it with dash disconnected, but just the same

The fitbit sys ive done 10,000steps, when my samsung phone says its 1,600, and i havent walked anywhere
Though to be h nest i only got the new Inspire 3 to record sleep, but it failed miserably,*not being able to get a reading* for most of last month

I tried the tig on a spare key but it just melted.
Cant get silver solder in this town but fortunately there is just enough key left to open the door and switch ignition on.
Loads of videos on youtube show an instrument cluster fault on this car, confirmed in part by communication error DTCs, of which i have many
so this weekend i shall mostly be tryingto find and solder dry joints

The MAF sensor is back in, I was about to start her up and run Forscan, but I had left hte key in the front of the bonnet, and leant on it,and broke it.
I dont recall having a spare. Tomorrow I’l TIG weld it if I can. Do you know if its possible to tig keys? or what material keys are made of?

was going to clean the MAP sensor too but the light at the end of the tunnel has run out

I unplugged the EGR, it started but died again
I put a new fuel filter in, it started and ran a while, then back as it was before.
Now im cleaning the MAF sensor
Fault codes are all EGR related.
when the snow/rain/hail stops i’ll replace it, but i dont know what to try next.
    Guess I’ll try forscan again

no signs of it being a new turbo.
Rusty Nissan- smae engine as berlingo? which used to require frquent oil changes? (also ” complex involved flushing sequence needed for refitting a new turbo”- what/how? Ive to fit a new turbo to my audi if I canever get the last 2 bolts off it)

A new EGR was fitted 3years ago, but lots of fault codes for it still. Dont know if previous owner just lived with that.
I was going to fit the blank plate, but couldnt remove the shield under the wipere for access, and coulddnt see where to put the plate, so ddidnt touch it.
So could the EGR suddenly done this to me?
I have given it the italian tune
    New battery has arrived!
    But yes its snowing here

So to rexap engine starts, wont idle, dies, and ENGINE MALFUNCTION light comes on
