at work we use copilot for the satnav, it takes you to the door as it is based on gps coordinates(i’m told), but I can put in 45 trog street and it will takeme there
however I dont know the software they use to plot the routes, i just download the route for the day,and it takesme to maybe 20 drops.
I never know where I am nor where I’m going

I used to walk it, and many of the places around there, before I was into cycling, 25 years ago
From Loch Fell, on a good day, you could see the power station on the Solway Firth, 60 miles away

    I want one too!
enduro/supermoto but has to be cheap
crf450r would be great but like rachel says, too much maintenance for rtw
a broken one to fix up would do
I’d get a trials if I had a way to get it around

    alric

if theres some simple trail maintenance needed, like sawing /pruning, I may be headed that way while I’m off the bike.
I’d need a gpx or similar

I know many people with fast bikes in thailand, but I cant remember when I needed more power/top speed than the cb500.Its not really a good idea to learn on an R1, given the road and traffic conditions.
The 500 will be great fun in the twisties, and a lot more comfortable in traffic

given the bike registration scenario in thailand, and availability youd be better off with the ones I mentioned.
    I wouldnt get a phantom
other choices are klx150, cbr300(or kawa version), er6n, ktm200 duke
    others cost a lot more
better to get something agile, lighter, with some power rather than a dead donkey to learn on

in thailand I’d get a crf250l or klx250. so much more opportunity to get places off road and dodgy tracks. Plus you’l learn a lot more on controlling them.
    prices 60-120k bt.
If you need just a road bike the cb500 twin would be my choice.
for cheap road, the cbr150 was a good little bike, but getting old now

I can send a gpx for some good bits

depends what you are looking for. The longslade red trail can be a bit confusing to follow. Like one spot ,after a swoopybit down between the trees,it looks like it goes right down a ten foot steep bank, but you want to go round left and follow some old tape. And another place after a straight atop a small ridge is down the bank on your left, but it goes back on main fireroads to the start/car park at 51.993222, -0.644994
Anyway like Burmaboy says the fun stuff is opposite the main rd car parking, big jumps and short dh runs
Theres more good flowy longer dh trails too but hard to find.
I could send a gpx if you email me

eat in the indian restaurants in penang st, georgetown
berjaya times square is a mall in kl with a rollercoaster inside and other such rides
FRIM canopy walkway is a swinging bridge over the jungle near kl
try the tea samples in the tea shops by the night market in petaling jaya, kl, jasmine tea was amazing
if you want to visit an island off the east coast there’s a few to choose from.depending on time and budget.diving was cheap at pulau tioman and snorkelling really good if you dont do scuba

I have been meaning to make one for the last 20 years, honest Though in my defence, the houses both sides do have numbers and it doesn’t seem to cause the delivery men a particular problem (we also often help them out by taking in parcels for neighbours – they seem to know what number we are when signing for them).

thats ok then, as long as your neighbours’ are obvious from the road at night
Some of the new streets round here dont even have names, some are numbered higgledy piggledy, but the new blocks of flats are the worst, you cant read the numbers until you’re at the door

    alric

people that order deliveries, with no house number you can see.
So you have to walk up to every door in the street at night, and are always late for the rest of your customers
They can afford 200k for a house, but cant afford a number sign

And nights when you cant sleep

if you’re talking 3 lanes coming into the roundabout, and 2 lanes out, then I’d say you can use any lane coming in, to go straight over. And Better to use up space instead of jamming up one lane.
Unless there are arrows/signs etc to the contrary.
But if there’s only one lane out it wouldn’t make sense
So how do you know if there’s one lane out or two?

There’re way too many signs/markings these days, once you start getting comfortable they throw some new designation at you.May be ok if you drive for one hour a day, but if you’re driving 8hours a day it takes up much too much attention

you could try a van driver for asda. not much money but regular work
or the season is coming up for masses of immigrants to do alll the warehousing jobs in milton keynes. money can be £9hour, maybe lots of overtime. lots of agencies to hire and fire you.
Accommodation is difficult/expensive but if you have your own van you should be ok

I’ve stopped coffee for 2weeks now!So I must be going through some withdrawals.I’m trying to find the trigger for my problem, which gets worse when I exercise
I have been on omeprazole since someone told me about it a few years ago, it made a world of difference to me.
Now I’m trying to ensure its not a gut flora thing, supposedly the good bacteria need feeding the right foods, and the bad bacteria dont want to be encouraged
So no coffee, alcohol, sugar, grains, but bananas apples, oats, lots of protein are good
It has made a difference so far, more than conventional medicine has, but I’m convinced yet

It does look like there is just enough room for a 2.5mm spacer, but that would mean screwing the BB cup inside the BB shell 2.5mm
