    noone tried the Dare2b ones?

A lighter, cheaper option is the Keela Neutronic, got one of these also but only really take it with me on the hottest of days when the Paramo above can be too much.

So how tough is the Neutronic?
I am wondering if theParamo will be too warm

How is the Paramo hood? Does it flap around a lot?
I wore my parrot on the motorcycles too. Is there much room for body armour? Are the sizes regular?
    Do the zips last?

Yes I take eye protection very seriously,
I had a piece of metal dug out of my eye with a needle, afer using an angle grinder with goggles on.
And some of the cutting discs I used in thailand were lethal. If you used the wrong pressure or grip they shatter

if you’re never going to Bagan in Burma, then you have to see Angkor Wat
but 18 days isnt very long out there. Youd be lucky to getto 4 or 5 sites if you’re getting off the main tourist path

Gabapentin was interesting, it put me in a relaxed state, so even if I didnt sleep I didnt care.
There are new kind of sleeping pills like Ramelteon which work in a different way, more like melatonin.
My doctor/s had never heard of them and I’ve no idea where to get them

I got sleeping tablets from the doc for 4months or so, but then he stopped them.
Anti histamines never did anything for my sleep,
I sleep better now than I ever have, but if I had to change my sleeping pattern every few days I’m fairly sure it would completely mess things up
I cant see you getting addicted to sleeping pills on 2 days a week.

Melatonin and 5HTP did nothing for me either.

i had/have a neck problem whichnothing seemed to help. It was from riding bikes
One day there was a physiotherapist from NZ, who just moved my neck around for a minute, and the problem was gone.
It was fine for months, until I fell off again. By this time the physio had left town.
Again, in Thailand, I went to see a thai @practitioner. He did the same, twisted my neck for a minute, and it all clicked back into place.
Its about time I went to see him again

I too find it very hard to slow down but What makes it worse is the footcramp i get after 1000metres or so.If I use my legs much, or do kick turns it gets worse.
Rotating my body is new to me but it takes the stress off my shoulders.
So you wait until your arm is below your shoulder level before you use any power with it?

I read that cortisol levels elevate due to this fight or flight mechanism and normally drop down after some time, but some people’s levels stay elevated due to adrenal system problems, and this is what maybe keeps you awake in such situations.
Cortisol testing seems fairly expensive, that’s why I never got it done

On the other hand,I too couldnt sleep after a very long hard day walking mountains or riding, but have had insomnia problems for years, and am only starting to sleep properly now, due to a recent therapy

Note the word mutual, that doesn’t just mean the company can dictate terms and the employee has to suck it up. It is however quite a hard fight to take on, which is why many companies get away with treating it like “mutual consent” means suck it up buttercup.

That kind of represents the company’s attitude.
I’d be quite happy to get one over on them.
I dont have much faith in the outcome of such situations.

So what happens when there are no days left for you to take your holiday?
Has the employer a Duty of Care to contact the employee when it is obvious that they are running out of available days to have off?

There never seems to be anyone there to ask about it.
With rumours of being paid in lieu, being told not to worry, the supervisor would approve the holiday request for me, there not being enough days available anyway, and needing the money I didnt see the point in applying before I needed it

    Same,which exercises?
I used to find the pressure worst at the end of the day, or the top of the mountain, when I sat down.
When I was getting changed after.
long ride , for example, in a sitting position, I could get a golfball size lump in stomach, and have to lie on my back for a few minutes until it went back
    Was very scary

I mean their hubs with hope hoops logo on them

    alric
    Free Member

he first versions of the hoop wheels used pro2 hubs, when the evo came out they changed to use that instead.

The pro2 rear has the same body but with a different axle, freehub and bearings. You can convert a pro 2 to an evo by changing all the parts. If it doesn’t say evo on it look at the shape of the end caps as this will tell you what hub it is. The original pro 2 and evo can’t do 11 speed, only the evo 40t or pro 4 can do this.

just called hope and they said all hoops had evo hubs

I thought I saw some hubs claiming to be EVO, but only marked as hope hoops, so I want to know
