with the 3/8 shock bush only available from BETD,and the linkage bearings so expensive, it is hard to justify keeping one, now theres so much newer stuff about. If it was an LT and took a longer fork, maybe a bit different, but the XC was built for a max 100mm fork

I was just riding along on my motorbike, at night, I saw one or two, in Thailand, had a red light for a headlight on their scooters
A lot of them dont use headlights at night, even on dark country roads, but yes, a red light coming towards you is mental

I was by stony stratford lakes (in MK)last month, and asked a fisherman if he ever saw otter, he said he had seen them, and that they kill all the fish, but dont eat them.
I dont believe that, it was probably mink and cormorants.
but I’m glad to hear that they are around
I saw them in thetford town centre one night, they had been reintroduced nearby

I put 15litres unleaded in my berlingo last year. Its a HDI
I got halfway out of the garage drove 50 yards- when I realised
The garage had a business card for this-they wanted £200
Got relayed home, and siphoned the tank, new fuel filter , bled the injector pipes/pump etc
    and everything was ok
I had a lot of wondering, googling, etc at the garage making my mind up what to do.
It was a major hassle but I did the right thing, I couldnt afford a new engine

those thin cutting discs are lethal, especially the ones you get in thailand. You need to keep them dead straight and have to start slowly- no bashing into metal with them. I wouldnt let my mate use one.
I always try to use a full face mask with a grinder, after once I was wearing goggles, but a tiny shard of metal got round them and into my eyeball.
In the hospital they used a microscope to see the metal and dig it out with a needle

I had a go or two on an ER6 and they steer like a bus. Not great in the twisty mountains
Also cost me almost twice in petrol than the days rental

I had a Dainese mtb lid in storage for 10 years, the foam liner all crumbled up
While I was abroad the roof blew off my garage in a storm so 6months later when I got back my leather trousers had rotted away
But in Thailand, if you store MC boots, goggles etc, in plastic boxes, the blastic cracks and rots very quickly

I did just see a Bosch 18v blue drill with 2x 4Ah batteries for £100, which is what Id have bought if I didnt get the same with 1.5Ah batteries a few weeks ago

Though Id probably have got the Aldi one at the time if I had found one. IIRC it was the charger reviews that put me off

I cant see anything in camera settings about voice activation
I’ll see if I can find anything in the manual

it says this on their website-
Two 4G networks cannot be used simultaneously.
When using two SIM cards, 4G support is only available for one card at a time.

i got it in february, on my rear
I didnt know what shingles was before. It was only mild, the doc knew straightaway what it was and gave me a prescription for amitryptiline, which I never used
It cleared up , iirc I took some gabapentin, which helped stop the discomfort and let me sleep

trumpton- do they still do that to people? I thought they had stopped some years ago

One thing I learnt, while doing my scuba diving, rescue diver course.was about all the anxiety I got trying to do everything right underwater, like taking the mask off, controlling y buoyancy, etc.
So watching beginners first time in the water, learning what mistakes they made, allowed my to take a look from another perspective, like a third party, with a detached view. It was then something I could reference, say it wasnt me that was having the problem anymore,so I didnt get caught up in the panic again. I could just watch the thoughts go by,

I had a friend kill herself. Or so the papers said. I didnt find out till years after, but for some reason she was in the psychiatric hospital. No doubt someone had convinced her to go there for some ‘help’,and they doped her up to the eyeballs. I imagine that the drugs hurt her so much(literally), and she thought she’d never be released, so she threw herself under a train.
Either that or another of the inmates decided to do her in
Perhaps I can understand her pain, but that was real for her
What I’d say is that we have feelings, and if we dont ‘switch off’ they can get strong. If we do switch off, we become unfeeling, brutal, robots, but, if we can stay with our feelings, like a dream, they evolve, and so can change.
One cant nail them down, in a 2 dimensional format, like a painting, cos thats when they die.
So yes its ok to have feelings, but dont try to take any action, cos thats the end of the feeling, thats escaping from your feelings, so you will never know what feelings mean.Every time that feeling will come back, and you will have the same negative response
Hang on until the bubble bursts. Then you will see things differently

Ive a 2,0hdi with 160k and just blacked out the rear windows and took the small seat out of the back
I find the heating doesnt warm my feet much and maybe the windows mist up easily.
My research tells me that max speed is 100mph.
I suspect there is a rev limiter so you couldnt exceed that even if you had a chip fitted
I just impulse bought a sofa
I had a van for a short time and the passenger seat slid forward more and also folded forward. A bit of a hassle to fit but worth it if you want that space(for sleep if youre 6ft, etc)
I can just sling the bike in on its side, and get changed in the back
