I used to park the van up for a couple of days here
or somewhere similar on the edge of the mudflats.
The tide goes out miles, then you can walk out to the dunes, but the tide comes in very fast, and if you cant find your way back through the channels, youll get swept out to sea. And drown.
Can be very nice out there, Ive swum across to the seals at blakeney point
Theres a pub in Stiffkey and its a great place for birdwatching

if its like the camera I have, shadows will set it off. Or mice, moths etc
If I bought one and put it in the shed with windows, and it goes off, then Id have to return it as its useless

I lived in chiang mai until 4years ago so may be able to help if your headed that way.
I took my son to Phuket, and we took a boat on a 3or4 island day tour, with snorkelling and the emerald cave(??) and james bond island iirc which was pretty good

in the same boat- dont want to share but have to- and in Milton Keynes theres not much on spareroom with garage, secure shed etc.
ground floor flats are harder to find
so I’m looking for a move to northampton, sheffield, nottingham maybe, etc, where the rents are less and more space, and there’s more engineering type work.
Really its a case of asking if there’s outbuildings/garage etc on spareroom, and looking for a place that is suitable.
I saw a place today and I would go for it, if I could figure out how I can service my shock there without upsetting someone

people that fill their car up at a *Pay at pump, card only* lane, then go into the kiosk to do their shopping, have a look around, pay there, whilst leaving their car at the pump, in the way, with a big queue behind them

‘people’ that take ages to move when the lights change to green, so only 3 cars can go before it goes red again.
and’drivers’ who drive so slowly theyre a moving roadblock and you get stuck behind them in 2nd gear all the way to john o’groats. They should pay for all your petrol and time/life that they wasted.

Drivers that stop to let you cross the road, when youre on a cycle path, and you already stopped for them. Why cant they just drive by and get out the way?

Its high time they had a war on ‘rubbish news’
Its rare to see anything but articles on brexit and maybe on real news article on BBC News main page
There sems to be very little real news available online anymore

looks great, esp in that Fantic yellow!
I’d fit an LED tail /brake light, had one on my klx250, and wire it up to the pedal, uses very little power
    maybe like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Motorcycle-Bike-LED-Stop-Brake-LicensePlate-Rear-Tail-Lights-SmokeLen/163829152402?hash=item2624fa7a92:g:6NAAAOSw76xbejS9

    Lao Lao
When youre out in the sticks in Laos, they offer you this rice whisky. It tastes like hiroshima in a glass, you feel this heat radiating through your body instantly
Also you might feel that the other people drinking out of the same glass before had some issues, and have to run to the bog for a couple of days or weeks until you can get some antibiotics
    Stick to BeerLao, its wonderful

I can put you in touch with Don Duvall, the guide/advisor for Rebecca Reusch’s film
He has mapped it all and most of Laos
He also does tours of it I believe

Its probably like the old Death Highway in Laos, but worse- the track split to go around puddles, then did it again and again, until theres no real side to the road, and you can never really tell which way you are heading

If you look at capra review
Youll see this in the comments

‘For a 95kg with a 400lbs spring you get a ~32% SAG at shock, however, due to the progressive nature of Capra, this corresponds to a 38% real SAG at the wheel travel. With a 450 spring you get 28% SAG at Shock and real 34% SAG at wheel. Going lower than 400 lbs means that you get a very soft initial travel (real SAG higher than 40%), which migth be way to soft (?) contributing to pedal bob. Bottom-outs should be ok even with such a soft spring given the progressive nature of the bike. I would stick with either a 400 or 450. The online calculators don’t account for progressive frames, so in this case, the results can be tricky.’
I started with a 350, now Im on 450. 500 felt ok but Im 75kg and like drops n jumps
    Hope it helps

Inflammation is part of the adaption / healing process, so suppressing it is supposed to reduce the healing / adaption effect, or so my physio tells me.

I disagree, the most important thing after an operation/exercise seems to be to reduce the swelling
you cant work on a knee thats inflamed

I dont know what youre saying about Ibuprofen blocking trainingbenefits, but it helps kill aches and pains that stop me sleeping. Not that it makes much difference, I still cant sleep mostly
Theanine( which can help tryptophan to cross the blood/brain barrier)(but green tea keeps me awake and is a diuretic)seems to help a bit, and maye tyrosine, but I havent found anything that quickly shuts down the cortisol, if thats what it is

I suppose they didnt want the hassle of dividing it into the east vietnam sea, west philippines sea, north indonesian sea, north eastern malayan sea, etc
China is much further away from the Spratly islands where they have been building military bases, than these other countries
Looks like its all heating up there at the moment

Have you seen how many Laos people are being’rehoused'(left for dead) by the
Chinese dams in Laos?and the way they took everything in the vicinity of the new roads they make?
And all the money they ‘lent’ Laos for the new roads, which will have to be paid back somehow?
And the effect these dams have on the mekong, and all the people that depend on its fishing and irrigation to survive?
Lots more chinese dams in cambodia too. And the South China Sea islands, china obviously has no claim to them
And all the chinese logging companies in Borneo, decimating vast areas of pristine rainforest
Its looking like itll be china all the way down to Chihanoukville and beyond

Just because America had a nuclear bomb, now everybody else wants one. They havent noticed that it was wrong,
See much of Tibet these days?

afaik matcha is a green tea. In thailand you often get given a green tea (as well) when you order a coffee. The green tea acts synergetically with the coffee to keep you alert
