Those have only got 10 pins per side. Try the 14 pins that mine have for proper scarring 😉

left us without internet and a phone number that no longer relates to our long established business

For all those banging on about only having one broadband line, I think the OP had more of a problem with the loss of his long standing business telephone number which presumably his customers use to contact him.

Also only having one broadband line for non critical comms or for a small business is no problem as you can always nip out and buy a pay-as-you-go wifi dongle to get your internet link back or just use your mobile phone as a hotspot.

I had one chap from a large national telling me that we both had to be in due to trespass laws and he couldn’t come round to quote unless we were both going to be there.

I had another one quote an astronomical price and when we said we were going to get alternative quotes said that most people sign up with him and then get the alternative quotes during the cooling off period. Plus the usual manager special, doing himself an injury by quoting us so low, offer only available for the next hour due to full capacity at his factory etc.

Of course we ended up with a good local firm at a fraction of the price.

£750 isn’t that much money to be carrying to buy a bike. When you relist just ask for cash on collection only.

Not sure if Spiceworks will link to Trello but it does everything else you mentioned. And it’s free (ad supported).

That’s changed my mind then. I’ll stick with cats for the time being. I don’t know how Charlie Brown puts up with it all …

It does start slowly but if you can get through a couple of episodes then you should be hooked. At least that’s how it was for me. I never experienced any slump and loved it all (notwithstanding the fly episode).

    I’d love a Beagle.

    Snoopy

Perhaps when I retire and have more time for walks. Do they make good trail dogs?

    Apart from getting an ebike

If it’s exercise/exertion related then trying an ebike might be a possible solution?

We are with Pedalcover. Unfortunately we’ve had to make a claim from an outbuilding for bikes and other garden and household items generally found in a shed/garage. No problem at all and it all went through smoothly.

I love Danny’s camper conversion. I wonder how much one of those would cost?

Also I think that video is the fist time I’ve seen Danny MacAskill riding regular trails rather than just bouncing on and off things. I wonder if he’s thought about doing some videos riding the crazy stuff on the north shore?

In a way I’ve always thought I’ve been lucky in that having a congenital heart issue has meant that I’ve been tested once a year for most of my life and have assumed that anything else nasty would have been found. Now that I’m over 50 it has worsened considerably in the past few years and I’m due open heat surgery in a few weeks time to replace the faulty bits. I do know that my arteries are clear and they’ve not found anything else of concern so assuming all goes well with the op I’m expecting not to have to worry about my heart as I get older. The rest of me is another matter of course.

I’ve been with them for a few years now. No problems and they were very quick to get Openreach out when something chewed through our phone cable.

Exactly what the IT department promised wouldn’t happen when the moved to a virtual exchange

or more likely what the telecoms sales rep promised wouldn’t happen in order to make the sale.

If you can afford it I’d have two bikes for the different disciplines rather than one bike for everything that felt compromised all the time.

If you/he does decide to take another year studying I’d suggest he leaves school and goes to a college instead. I found it a different and more mature environment which suited me better than staying on at school.

I have a OnePlus 3 phone (released June 2016) and am on Android Nougat. I expect I’ll get the latest update in a couple of months or so.

When I’ve had return requests and the buyer hasn’t returned the item, eBay have closed the request without any input from me. I guess they probably send the buyer a reminder after a certain time and if they don’t get a response then just close the open request.

Del Boy: What was the name of that dish that Casandra made?
    Rodders: Moules Marinieres.
Del Boy: Yea that’s it, any one else would have used mussels.

    Try pedalcover.co.uk.

It’s run by bikers for people who have expensive bikes in sheds.

Start a gaming vlog from your spare bedroom. Once you get up to a few million subscribers then the advertising money should start flowing in.

I’ve had that happen to me as a seller. Signature obtained but buyer says they haven’t received it. I refunded the buyer, lost the item and the money and moved on. I felt it was my duty to get the item to the seller and not their fault that my courier had screwed up. Of course they could have been been scamming me.

Perhaps try and get your money back through PayPal?

I bought a 1 year old top of the range Insignia from a dealer for about £15k with less than 10k miles on it. Dab radio, Sat nav, leather electric seats etc. I do about 15k to 20k miles per year on it with no issues so far. Very comfy but not very exciting.

Even if you can’t have it delivered to work and are out during the day, there is often the option to have it delivered to Argos or other Click and Drop locations. I know this isn’t fool proof (especially Argos who often take time to admit to a delivery) but these Click and Drop locations are usually open late and open at weekends.

As it happens I’m just looking to replace my ride on which died last week. I’m just thinking how much time I’d save mowing at 150mph. The article doesn’t say if it has a mulch option though so I think I may have to look elsewhere.

I saw it as I drove up the M61 yesterday evening. No smoke this morning that I noticed on the way down but there was still a smell of burning in the air as I passed by.

Whenever I’ve flown with bikes (not from Edinburgh though) I’ve either dropped them off at the drop off area (with someone to look after them) and gone to park or else gone into short stay, checked in and then moved into long stay afterwards.

I’ve been with Vodafone for a few years now for mobile, broadband and home phone. No problems and cheaper than BT who I was with beforehand.

I believe you can use your own router now and they will give you your username and password if you ask although I haven’t tried. I think I read this somewhere but double check if using your own router is a must have.

With mine it’s usually the air filter. As has been said above, remove it and see if it runs. It’s amazing what a difference it makes.
