The book scared me as a child. Is the film for children?

Unless you plan to ride uphill for hours on end I'd go for longer travel and a more burley build.

That is bad news. Fingers crossed that it turn up and you get it back.

Another M&S user here. I made a claim for a bike with them a few years ago without any problems or drama.

Will a mobile be rugged and waterproof enough to work? I'm assuming you'll want to strap it to your handlebars? I use a Garmin Geko 201 which has never let me down.

If you type the word "Google" into Google you'll break the Internet.

I've had to put down a couple of mangled but alive mice that the cat has brought in. I found it a very unpleasent thing to do.

Not sure it'll hold my sawn off …

What I do is ride within my comfort zone but towards the upper limits. That way my 'envelope' shifts upwards and although I get better it's a very gradual progression. I've find it's (hopefully) less likely to cause me injury.

H – you best try Doug! I don't have an iPhone yet but he does. In fact, he's testing this app for me!

Will do. She's not got hers in the post yet but it's due by the weekend. Ta

Hi Mark. Linz has just ordered herself an iPhone. Do you have any suggestions for MTB type apps?

Dirt School is very good. Both the DVD and the actual tuition. Do both if you can.

I did it for the first time this year and found it hard going due to the weatehr and the mud.

Does anyone have the route on their gps that they could email me please? My address is in my profile. Ta.

I wear knee and elbow pads all the time. The worst that's likely to happen is I'll get a little warm on a hot day. However if I fall off there is that extra chance that I wont injure myself if I hit my knee or elbow. No matter how easy or familiar you are with a trail there is always the chance you'll fall off.

Every time I have a bad crash (hospital type crash) it takes me about 6 to 12 months to get my confidence back. Just ride easier trails and go around stuff more. Just take is easy and slowly and you'll get your confidence back bit by bit.

I've lost 60% movement and strength in my right wrist (permanently) and 2 years on it's still very, very painful following a crash in Les Gets.

I've also broken my other wrist and have got problems with torn ligaments in my ankle which still haven't healed properly after a year.

None of this this stops me riding though. I just wear additional armour/supports and take things easy.

I wear either Kyle Straits or Raceface Freeride. I find both very comfy for all day rides. I've yet to crash wearing the Kyle Straits but have had lots of offs with the Raceface and never had any knee injuries yet.

Is this a new DH track or is it an XC trail?

I've only ever done the DH at Hamsterley. Is the XC any good?

What's it going to cost? A stamp? Just send it off as you never know. Good luck.

And while we're at it why not put the frame size of frames or complete bikes in the description too.
