I'd go with whichever one says 'bridleway'.

You wouldn't bother with insurance if you were just turning up to cheer the riders on so why bother just because you're taking a few snaps (no matter what equipment you're using)?

I've always put mine (F+R) the right way round. But then I know nothing.

I have a Blackberry, an HTC HD and an iPhone.

Since I got the iPhone (a couple of months ago) I've not used the other 2.

Wouldn't a Sunday have a bolt through front wheel? If so how did it fall off or was the bouncing about bad enough to bounce it off the hook?

I've just had a Shimano arrive in the post today.

I thought the braking bumps were a feature built into every trail in the area by the course designers. 😉

I take the forks off (and handlebars) and zip tie them to the frame. Perhaps a bit ott but it makes the bike much smaller and fits in the bag a lot easier.

Are there likely to be any problems with OS v4 and is it worth waiting a few days/weeks before upgrading?

If this was a MS product then I wouldn't consider upgrading for a long while.

    What Kuco said.

I've been to all 3 of your places and BC would be my choice.

Can you get the TV crew organised in time?

Drac: I agree but the MD is paranoid about security and hasn't allowed wireless connections in the past.

Also I have the same problem at home as my laptop picks up my wireless router (just – old stone house, phone line at one end, my home office at the other) but my iPhone doesn't

We're developing iPhone and Win Mobile apps for use by our salesforce and it's slow testing them. Not a problem as I can get a wireless router but was wondering if it was possible to do it via my laptop.

This is when I'm at work. No wifi access and no 3g. Only slow GPRS.

I've been with both Tickettoride and Bearback. Both excellent. If I was going again I'd probably pick Bearback for their guiding and skills courses (included in the price).

Make sure you take it very, very easy for the first few days as the park improves your confidence and pushes your limits.

I think a lot has to do with practice. Couple of years ago I shatterd my wrist on my dominant side. Since then I use my left for a lot of stuff I can't do with my right anymore. Perhaps not as well as I used to but the improvement in dexterity and strength in my left hand has been amazing.

I use M&S and have had a no hassle claim a few years back for a bike.

I too have lots of weeds but on a lawn. I'm guessing salty water will kill off the grass even if I only spray the weeds?

Probably no good for me then. Thanks for the info.

When in Whistler I always carry a jar of honey in my camelbak so I can throw it one way and go the other if I meet a bear 😉

I've had mine for 5 days and the novelty hasn't worn off yet 😉 I think it will be the best 'phone' I've ever had.

I can recommend the Canon 70-300mm IS which should fit your requirements.

Cheers solarider that's a pretty comprehensive reply. Thanks for the tips on what to look for. From what you've said I think we'll sort one out for her when we get to the resort. Thanks.

It's sunny where I am at the moment and I'm worried that if it keeps up I'll have to go back into the office tomorrow.

It's actually cheaper to buy SIM free off Apple Store!!!

I was told in an Apple store that you can't buy one sim free. You can buy one with a one month pay as you go sim (which adds a tenner to the price) but the phone is still latched to either Orange or O2.

worry about tyres more than the car they are attached to.

I'll 2nd that. My 4×4 was having a very hard time today yet the Ford Ka and Smart cars that I rent in the alps when skiing never have any problems in worse conditions than we have here as they're fitted with winter tyres.

Does anyone know if Vodafone will offer the iPhone as a pay-as-you go or sim free option?

I bought a 2nd hand Sky+ box on Ebay, a quad line LNB and some shotgun cable and did it myself. Sky will upgrade your account to Sky+ for free.

Google Sky+ DIY for some websites telling you exactly how to go about it.
