Out of interest is the winder included in the width/size measurement or is it just the widest part of the housing?

I’ve just read your blog. You should write more if you can. I’m glad things are improving. Good luck and best wishes. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve always fancied going to Burning Man. Perhaps next year. Anyone on here been?

Fat sticky Minions. But then I prefer grip to speed and don’t ride my DH bike when it’s proper wet.

Pop along to Incredible Edible Todmorden and help yourself. There’s great riding too so you can make a day of it.

    Has anyone used Bob Books?

I’m looking to make a high quality photo book of my sister’s wedding photos.

Or can anyone recommend a high quality but not ridiculously expensive site instead?

You have a similar problem to me. I can have one glass of wine with an evening meal and have a hangover the next day. It seems that there can’t be enough alcohol in my system to cause the hangover. However very occasionally I find I can drink a fair amount if drinking throughout the day (at a wedding for example) and am relatively fine the next day. My ‘problem’ started one Christmas a couple of years ago when I had flu (perhaps it was just man flu) for a few days and didn’t drink during that period. I’ve not really been able to take alcohol since then.

I’ve not had any experience with Dogtag but Snowcard have been brilliant for several of my mates over the past few years.

You can trade using direct access (you can on US markets – not sure about UK) where you buy and sell directly so you can place any price to buy or sell that you like. Often people place prices way outside the spread just in case someone miss clicks and you get a deal.

I’ve been riding with them for a few years. I’d agree with both of the above posts although mine have lasted a few years. I’m about to order another pair so I’d recommend them.

I’m in no way associated with them but I’ve used and would recommend CBL Data Recovery Services (www.cbldatarecovery.co.uk). They operate on a no data no fee policy the last time I used them and their prices were very good. I’ve used them a few times through work over the past few years.

    Good luck.

Once sorted post back for recommendations on backup software, external hard drives etc.

I was lambing live yesterday afternoon.

    Meet Bill and Ben 😀

I’ve told them to get a move on with that grass but it’s a big field and they’re only small!

The thing is that even if you feel you don't need/want the extra protection, an off may spoil or shorten your holiday.

For lift assisted XC I would wear leg and elbow armour and a full face helmet. You can always stick a normal XC helmet into your bag as well in case you hate the full face or decide to ride up some hills.

There are no mandatory drops or jumps on any of the DH routes (unless things have changed from 12 months ago). The doubles are quite big so take them slow and just roll through them. Some of the tracks are quite a bit steeper than a 'normal' XC route in places. At each fire road intersection you can change to a different DH track so you can link up the easier or your favourite sections. Hang back at the top of the uplift to let the faster people go ahead and take your time.
