I’m fairly sure that’s the model I bought a couple of months ago from Currys. I love it. I didn’t worry about wifi directly on it as I just plug my laptop in via hdmi if I want internet on it.

When in Canada our holiday company got us to keep a piece of paper with all our details in our Camelbak. This seems like a good solution as even with a wallet full of credit cards (assuming a locked phone so no ICE available) it’s going to take some time for the rescue services to find your who-to-contact details.

I use Level 2 Direct Access. You can trade on the American markets in the evening after work.

I used to be checking my shares every 30 mins…..

Way too long a time frame for me. I have to be watching constantly.

Paypal is fine. But not if you’re messing about sending emails etc. It’s just too unprofessional. Get an Ebay shop if you’ve got problems taking paypal payments via a dedicated website. All IMO of course.

My 04 s-works Enduro is still going strong and at £999 for the frame makes it even better value for money 😉

Just to add a bit of balance the opposite happened to a female friend of mine. She had always been the main breadwinner while he worked 1 day a week. She paid all the mortgage on the house, bills, food etc and also ran the house and looked after the kids. When she decided she’d had enough and asked him to leave/divorce basically for being a feckless halfwit (no other man involved, she’d just had enough and would rather be without him) she ended up having to pay him half the value of the house and her savings even though she stayed in the house and had custody of the kids.

I upgraded myself a couple of years ago. I bought a quad LNB (the bit that sits on the end of the arm in front of the dish) for about £10 and just swapped it over. This gives you up to 4 lines. So 2 for your Sky+ box and a spare 2. I then ran an extra cable from the dish into the lounge for the Sky+ box. I bought my Sky+ box off eBay and got a free Sky+ card from Sky for it. Not sure about HD but my old dish works fine for Sky+.

I’ve put the old Sky box in the bedroom with a Sky freeview card in it (£10 one off payment, no monthly) to get the regular and freeview channels. We don’t have freeview in our area (or cable) so it’s either Sky or nothing for us.

I’ve used rapid rise on all my bikes for years. Always seemed logical to me. I wouldn’t go back.

After our experience at work with about 100 Windows phone users and all the problems we’ve had I’d say either of the other two although I have no experience with linking to MS Exchange as we don’t use it anymore.

A friend who works abroad a lot often has dinner with his wife via Skype with video. They set up their laptops on the table opposite themselves and can see and chat to each other while eating.

Skippy: We came that way last night. Totally clear on the road. No ice or snow to speak of. With winter tyres you’ll be fine. No need for snow chains. I’ve driven that road several times over the past few years and never had any problems.

White out this afternoon in Les Gets so we’ve called it a day and are sat with a beer using wifi at The Boomerang. Loads of snow. Should be blue skies and sun later in the week. 8-D

Like others I just leave it in drive and keep my foot on the brake (unless it’s a very long wait). I’m fairly certain I’ve only needed the brake pads replacing once in 106K miles . I doubt I’d ever go back to a manual through choice.

Lift your feet off the floor during take off and landing to reduce the vibrations and unplesentness. Works for nervous flyers that I know.

Playing with the account is good to learn the software but it’s totally different when you’ve got actual money riding on a position. Good luck.

I bought a Tom Tom One (the most basic at the time) a few yars ago and like 40mpg have used it all round Europe as well as the UK. I don’t know what fancy extras you get with the more expensive units but I can’t think of anything that I would want to add.

I’ve had it since boxing day. The manflu has receded but the cough is getting worse. Kept waking myself up last night through coughing.

I’m still riding my ’04 Enduro (on the rare occasions I actually get out and ride) and can’t see me replacing it any time soon.

I would have thought that no matter what you did (short of reversing into him) it was his fault for hitting you and not leaving enough space etc.

    Hi.

It’s your first week so if you take to skiing/boarding then anywhere will be good. Don’t worry about the resort, boots, equipment, lift pass, clothes etc. Just like riding bikes, it’ll all be fine. Go and have fun.

    🙂

I saw the advert for this game the other day and I must say I’m tempted to buy it (plus what ever console it runs on) as I haven’t played a fps in years. My worry is that my home broadband is only 1M as I live in the sticks and wouldn’t be able to keep up.

10 million facebook points from your ’round the world’ photo albums

Do you have a passion for photography and can you do something in that field or are these just holiday snaps? £15K can set you up as a wedding/portrait/commercial/paparazzi photographer.

Same boat here. I had a play with a G12 in a shop today but it felt a bit plasticky and fiddly compared to my Canon SLRs. I thought the size was fine for the features and control you get. I’ll pick up a Nikon P7100 to compare but would rather stick with Canon if possible.

How much are you willing to pay to get these photos back? I’m sure a data recovery specialist will manage it. You’ve got to stop using the phone so the data isn’t overwritten. I’ve used a company called CBL Data Recovery[/url] a couple of times (I’ve no connection to them) for work. They will check the drive/device, tell you what they can recover and give you a quote. You then decide if you want them to go ahead. If you decide not to go ahead there is no fee.

As others have said, you need to start backing up your data. If you don’t have your photos on at least 2 separate drives in 2 separate physical locations then you’re risking loosing them. Most data can be recreated but photos generally can’t. What if your wife had lost her phone or had it stolen?

    Good luck.
