One of the highlights of today – a ride on a new 6 man chair with automatic bar lift, fantastic!

I was on one of them a couple of times last week. It also seemed to have foot rests that moved forwards and backwards before the bar raised/lowered. Higher chair backs too.

greetings from a sweltering Morzine you lot!

We were there until late Sunday evening. Proper hot on Sunday. I don’t think I’ve ever skied in such hot weather even through I’ve been out there much later in the season in previous years.

I’ve been using Muc-Off Anti-Fog Treatment spray on my glasses under skiing goggles and it’s been great. On the days I forgot to spray it on my glasses have fogged up so it does seem to work. I haven’t tried it on riding glasses yet though.

Sad news. I didn’t have the good fortune to meet him but from the posts and photos he seems a great chap. RIP.

Thanks for the replies so far. Has anyone used Dark Grey? There seems to be some good deals for goggles with this lens but I worry that it’s too dark in anything but blue sky days.

There’s no web browser/app on the Foxsat.

Oh well it would have been a bonus. I’ll probably still switch as it’ll pay for itself in about 10 months.

Sky+ user here and am thinking of switching. If I get a Humax box can I watch Netflix on it? i.e. does it have a web browser or an app?

At my last house I had several water taps buried about 6′ into the ground (in vertical tubes) for the spring water system. A tool like that could be used to turn the taps on and off.

Why do you need a MAC to change ISPs? Don’t you just give your notice to the old one and sign up with the new? Or is this to minimise downtime?

I liked the way the fighting scenes were shot but didn’t really understand or enjoy much else.

Although we’ve never met I always enjoy your posts and my best mate lives in Marsden so I’m often in the area.

Good luck, keep positive and keep posting on here.

I joined at the weekend. Any Netflix account allows you to access local content anywhere in the world. So just change your DNS settings and you get USA content. Change it back and you get UK only. I installed Hola (free) into my Firefox browser and can switch easily.

We’re due to install our new kitchen this year and have been looking at diy-kitchens.com. I think I got the recommendation from another thread on this site.

My mum did, it’s probably still out in the shed, somewhere; a Singer one, with a domed wooden cover.

My mum has the same and still uses hers.

I get the sparkles in my vision and afterwards feel sick although have never actually been sick. I never get any pain or headaches though. Don’t know if that counts as a migraine or something else.

Supposedly mega-money premiership football deals/contracts etc still use fax machines.

We had the medical report for a premiership footballer for his transfer deal faxed to our home fax by mistake.
