We use it at work and I use it for my personal emails at home. Once you’ve got your emails back, just copy a few at a time into your local folder. I find that if you try and drag too many at once it causes the problem you’ve just had.

That reminds me I’ve got a stash of them in the shed. I’ll have to dig them out and have a read.

    Voted.

Mind you that was before I saw the spaceship one 😉

Vet squirted liquid charcoal down her throat as an absorption effort, as you can imagine that’s a really messy process with a resistant springer.

Just as messy when we’ve had to do that to one of our sheep but at least we were outside 😆

    Hope your dog is OK.

How else are you going to carry the dSLR, spare lenses and external flash?

p.s. Or do you mean you’re having trouble copying them from the memory card (or directly off the camera) to the laptop?

I would have thought your camera would have come with software to allow you to view and convert RAW to other formats?

I’ve been loving them since I first heard them on one of the sweary northerners mtb videos on here a while ago.

That reminds me, I must make a point of seeing them live.

Both my grandparents on my mother’s side are 99 at the moment so I’ll see what they get up to.

I’ve just tried Trello and like it a lot from what I’ve seen. I’ve got it on the laptop and phone. The SO is list mad so this may be a good way to keep joint lists organised. Of course it’s also a good way for her to load me up with jobs 🙄

My SO rides men’s bike in XS size. She doesn’t want girly colors and the equipment/spec/model choice never seems to be as good on women specific models. She gets the saddle swapped and may get a shorter stem.

+1 for Honda 4 stroke. Starts first time even after a winter of neglect and a pleasure to use.

Clinic Ace. Kills all weeds that we’ve come across n you can drink it neat with no issues (apparently) so safe for pets and children.

We were thinking it might be nice to ski in Whistler as we’ve only seen it in the summer. Nothing set yet though.

I lived in the hills above Tod until 18 months ago and O2 was zero (even though we were close to a mobile mast) while Vodafone and Orange were good. YMMV.

+1 for Skype. I use it often to call relatives in Italy on their landlines and mobiles.

Thanks for the replies so far. The house is empty of furniture and has had all carpets removed. We’re planning to use the same colour throughout.

Wait until you’re in your 40s like me. I know I’m more than 40 and less than 50 but that’s about it.

+1 for putting in a solid state drive. It’s what I’ve done rather than buy a whole new laptop.

As has been said above, perhaps talking to a counsellor rather than close family and friends may be easier.

My father was a counsellor (before he retired) and the NHS would refer and cover the cost of several sessions with him. People would be referred to him via their GP. Perhaps ask if this service is still available when you see your GP.

Good luck to all three of you.

I’ve got some Zwilling / Henckels too (the Pro S range). Had them about 12+ years and still great.

It happened to me last weekend. The difference being I was abroad (in Italy) and was using various hotel and restaurant wifi connections. Once back in the UK and either on Vodafone 3G or home wifi (BT) it’s been fine.

I’ve got an iPhone 4S on the latest iOS.

Good luck to you both. Stay positive. You will get through it.

If you love someone, and you believe it, tell them today.

Thank you for posting this. I just have.

I’ve used CBL Data Recovery[/url] a couple of times for work. No data no fee. Even if they can get your data back they then give you an exact quote and if it’s too high then you have the option of just asking them to return your drive. If you give them a call I’m sure they can give you a ball park figure over the phone. I imagine it’ll be a few hundred pounds but less than a thousand unless your drive is really knackered.

Another Honda 4 stroke user here. Much easier to use than 2 stroke strimmers I’ve had in the past.

I’ve ordered a Raspberry Pi and wireless dongle for playing Netflix just this morning. Now I’m wondering if a Chromecast wouldn’t have been a simpler option.

I’ve updated the firmware from usb and still can’t get Netflix. It just isn’t in the apps list (that I can find). Previously I’ve tried changing the telly’s DNS settings to USA and although I did get the Netflix app it wouldn’t let me log in. I haven’t tried since updating the firmware though. My telly is a UE40D5520RK.

So I’ll be looking into some kind of xbmc or similar device to save having to hook up my laptop every time I want to watch Netflix on the big screen.

I’m afraid that discovering the previous owners bodges is all part of the ‘fun’ of a new house. I can sympathise though when it’s a dangerous and/or expensive to put right bodge.

Shouldn’t you be packing and panicking that the cheap and rather dodgy sounding removals men that you’ve booked against your wife’s wishes may not turn up rather than having enough time on your hands to browse STW?*

Have fun in your new house.

    * YMMV but this is typically how it goes for me.
