I cant recall my Vans Skink Mid getting sodden in the lovely weather we have over here. In fact they’ve been used regularly for just over 2 years and I’ve only just worn through the sole….so need more. Sadly they’ve stopped the Skink so I might have a look at trying the Teva Links as I like the look of their mid/hightop. I cant ride normal as I like a bit of ankle protection offered by the mid/hightops

Interview under caution…..hmmm yes that’s a fishing exercise no doubt, as Mbike says.

Sadly you’ve probably now admitted to reversing while facing oncoming traffic.

Its rock and hard place, as you’ve realised the bus is there and tried to get out its way. Also the bus driver should also be looking where he is gong and anticipating this…bus drivers swap routes but not enough to not know what dangers are on the route they take. He’ll know its tight for two vehicles!

IANAL but it should be the other way round, the bus driver sees you and should slow down/stop knowing no space to get round the corner.. As they are semi blind and ignorant of other road users (based on Birmingham city bus drivers…sorry if there are any present)

As you’ve said plenty to dibble then I’m guessing you may see action taken on this unless the CPS actually use their head and tell the Police to stop wasting their time…..or should do.

I’d love an alu Bronson. When these are secondhand or the TR Blur- I’m buying
Please guys – splash your money away. Mince the trail centres then sell to me after a year

Yep me too, love my Blur LT2 I feel it suits me perfectly…and bucking the trend of SC by having a small frame for a 5’8 rider. yes its a little cramped(30+ milers cause no niggles so not too bad) but my god can I chuck it about.

It’ll be the ring. If you popped in a new piston and ring, got the valves shimmed up you’d be spot on again for another 20 years….in fact that old might even be on rockers so easily adjustable.

Any MX place should be able to sort that out and will know more about that type of engine than a dealer/motorbike place

Still got mine but have observed the cheap forks out there.

For your money I doubt you can find a better fork!

26 lives on with me. Wont be changing soon and relishing the bargain 26″ wheels coming about as I’m looking for some (delete one) newer, stronger, lighter ones.hehe.

As others have said, its the pleasure of stripping, degreasing, cleaning, inspecting, regreasing and assembling the bike so I don’t usually time it. Don’t care if its being done right.
The peoples bikes I service are always mega happy with what I do and I’m always mega happy to service peoples bikes.

I consider the above one of lifes simple pleasures.

I think the video is better.

Wall ride or not, scraping knuckles and forearm in the dirt like that would make Dutch a happy boy on his rides!!

Different and nice. Donor car was ugly as sin but made to look classic now.
My only gripe is the front grille. You can see right through it. Needs something behind it (even if for effect)

Bet its a hoot to drive though

I’ve dabbled in many substances but the rule was always no smack, crack or jack.

Stood me in good stead and have very fond memories of those years.

As for all smack heads are scum….

MIL? What does she use said laptop for?

If its just for browsing shopping etc then I’d be pointing her down the tablet route. For years my parent struggled with laptops (even shiny new ones that worked at a decent speed) and they usually just sat by the side of a chair/hidden away in a cupboard etc

Let them borrow the Ipad for a weekend and they now want one each.

As long as the stanction is ok then I see no reason why not to get it serviced.

As Zippy said send it off for a quote?

For the price of a 2nd hand shock you could get yours serviced and custom valved so the pro pedal lever does something. If you’ve never had it serviced it will be a revelation as to how it can perform!!

15w50 isn’t anything special, and yes you could use fox fluid but not the float I think that would be a bit too viscous.

I’ve personally always added a little bit of 10wt sus fluid just to keep it lubed inside

Don’t the other day wasn’t it?

Looks OK in an XT/XTR shifter kind of way:

Reminds me, I must get a cheapo gripshift as I wouldn’t mind trying that instead.

We’ve recently discovered three and a half year old Diddy Dutch is quite fond of these, noticed him watching a few variants of all kinds of toys.

WARNING We did find a few videos with swearing in them, so if your child is watching these then I’d advise caution.

I wouldn’t buy a cheap one, the only decent small lecky bikes I’ve seen are the Oset Trials bikes:

    Linky: Oset Bikes UK

This would then allow your kid to ride like Chris from Superbike mag:

Either the freehub seal, which is more than likely as they do have to ‘click’ into the lip rather than just press up to it.

Failing that your missing the washer between the freehub and shell. The one that spaces the freehub out slightly.

TeamViewer, LogMeIn both do it for free if you are happy to potentially let a 3rd party access your machine and you wont know about it.

Windows built in RDP would be my option although it does require knowledge of current Dynamic IP and a bit of port forwarding on your router. This also you can drag and drop files, hear remote sounds etc

PS: Don’t use the std 3389 port – Map this in your router to some spurious 10000+ port number instead. (I’ll admit that using a high port number isn’t going to guarantee safety but at least with a port number change there is much more lower hanging fruit for the hackers to go at.)

I just think it begs belief that so called ‘Trail Contractors’ would allow this type of work to go on without understanding the long term nature of the ground they are working on.

I love my Single Ply Minion 2.35 front.

Use a Medusa rear all year round too as it grips plenty and despite being a mud tyre its lasted really well.

Same here njee, slightly inflated helps to stop pinching when levering back on.

Semi amusing in a way that only a multi-time TDF rider could lower himself to.

S’pose the Muricans will love this charade.

I’ve had the last half of my Fuch off tub sat there doing nothing since using Rhino Goo.

Never had a better finish for mtb or motorbike. Over time I found Muc Off did cause slight staining. Wouldn’t touch that nasty pink shit ever again!!!!

Are you sure there was no damage internally(as miniscule as it maybe), surprising that after a service they would be worse.

Sucking down usually means one thing O rings gone, but as Northwind found out there can be damage internally that only someone with extensive knowledge could spot.

Havent we missed the point here:

Mrs Binners has already expressed her concern

    First mistake right there fella!!!

Secondly, yes quite easily manage it myself. I walk in with eyes closed and specifically ask ‘can I have this please’ then pay with the smallest denomination possible to avoid having change for other goodies. Doesn’t happen very often though. I likes shiny things!!!
