Junkyard, I think you might be surprised what the law thinks about Cannabis, even to the extent that its the only Class B drug with its own special proceedures:
Rather than bore you with the Drugscope pages long winded version I’ll give you the Dutch version:

Caught once: You’ve been a naughty boy, throw it away

Caught twice: You’ve been a naughty boy again, throw it away again

Caught a 3rd time: Might treat you to a drive down the cop shop. Once down there and having stewed for a while in the cells, they’ll let you go with a stern word….or Police Caution as they like to call it

Caught a 4th time: Same as above, but this time Segeant Noddy reckons you need teaching a lesson and says you’ll go to court. They’ll let you go and warn of a court date. CPS get hold of it and tell Sergeant Noddy to stop wasting his time.

You get the picture, unless we are talking about serious quantities then they police really do nothing about it. Its not worth their time to go chasing a few smokers when there are much more serious criminal activity going on around them. Litter dropping for example!

So when you said “perfectly legal” you meant “below the amount where the police can be arsed”

P.S You’re not the Badger tubeless bloke are you ?

No I mean its perfectly legal. The law states that there must be sufficient quantity…..which a spliff does not contain!! (well some might well do but rather you than me smoke them regular)

    No idea on badger ref

Molgrips, yes I’ll admit it would be tricky…..but still entirely feasable.

How could you not be guilty of possession if you were caught smoking the stuff ?

    Quantity and timescales.

The quantity placed inside of a spliff is generally regarded as way below the limit required for prosecution.

Timescales….unless you are a moron and spark up in front of a copper, then the product has been consumed which means there would only be ash as evidence.

In both cases the CPS look at the case and laugh at whoever brought it to their attention. Wasting Police and CPS time!!!

    I love STW!!!

Last time I checked, it was perfectly legal to ‘smoke’ any number of illegal narcs. Its the possession, grow, distribute or sell etc is the illegal part!!!

Talk to them, they may not be aware.

It was only after the birth of my neighbours little girl that we found out if we sparked up in the front room they could smell it in theirs.

I’ve always wanted a Cove for the names, its just the silly seatpost sizes.

Plenty of good choices so thanks, I’ll keep an eye out for what comes up

Oh god forbid I’ll race it. This will be for fun only. Days when I cant be arsed with the FS round Cannock. Nice change to lose half the bike weight etc

Yeah BT have loads of issues today, causing me some right grief but heyho. At least I’m at home and can watch the Moto GP on TV as their online stream doesn’t work.

When a new GXP BB is £20 from Halfords I replaced it all rather than trying to replace the bearings alone.

Weesky is spot on, the whole point of a bike to me is for its speed.

Adrenaline is without doubt the best drug in the world!!!

    Do it!!!

Did CBT and Direct Access at 27. Even the Aprilia RS125 was a complete and utter joy to ride on my CBT.

Once you get some miles under you on a ‘big’ bike then you start to realise why people go on about it so much.

I know its a well used phrase but ‘4 wheels move the body and two wheels really do move the soul!’

Used a 16mm drill bit in anger!

In fact used it a few times this weekend, once for the outside tap and then put down the 2nd ground anchour in the garage. Never enough security!

Yeah my mate gets his KTM 150 in the back of his Vauxhall combi

Front seat goes right forward and make sure theres no bulkhead.

    Word of warning:

Don’t accelerate/brake too hard or bike goes all over.
Don’t expect to carry jetwash with you
Enjoy getting it back in the van after a days racing and your hangin!

As above, Lego has always had instructions…and like most it seems I;m not alone in building the box models first and then storing it with the rest of the Lego in a plastic bin. (With a large white cotton sheet inside that wraps around all the lego. Makes clearing it up dead easy as you just wrap it back up and slide back into the bin)

The only model I made back up and kept on a shelf was the backhoe model:(not my picture)

God you lot are hard to please sometimes, I thought that was pretty chuffin good for a retro port…and one that gets 128k ram anyway.

Yes there are better games for putters of that age but that isn’t the point. This is DOOM on a Speccy!!!

Imagine if that had of happened in the speccy days and not PC days, it may have changed puter games as we know it….but mor than likely it’d have been passed over and the legendary game we all know may not have made such a big hit.

My neighbour works with a guy who collects scrap at the weekends and told me they had a couple BSO down the yard. Went to have a look and I came home with a (don’t get excited) Muddyfox Chaos. Got home, stripped stickers so don’t look as bad now and its great fun.

Cheap components, 1 piece crank, wheels made of cheese….but for a tenner its provided me and a mate with hours worth of fun down the park. Also got me some well needed practise trueing wheels. Eg: everytime I come back they are slack and bendy

Petrol in a jar, brush off later on/next day. Apply lube carefully to each roller. (I use White Lightning Clean ride as the wax gets back into the rollers nicely)

Sango, you can tell which is gear changes and which is the rolling radius decrease by the way in which the revs rise.

When tipping into a corner with constant throttle what actually happens is you decelerate. So a small throttle input is required to maintain speed due to higher wheel speed as it goes over.

    Sudden Increase = Gear change

Smooth rev rise = Same gear

To deny any child the chance to have a decent burger or bacon sarnie is tantamount to abuse anyway.

Sadly this is not an example of a good burger…..now 2:30am outside the local nightspot the delights of not only a burger but kebab meat too.
