A bit of both, depends on where we are going.

Local stuff I’ll ride with or without company, its nice to stick the headphones in and just ride wherever you want.

Road trips are however useless without mates.

Can you drill an additional hole possibly at an angle to help said area?

Not got one myself but have fit two of these recently on bikes I look after for friends.

Yes, don’t expect Thomson/RS quality or infinitely adjustable seathead as its serrated so you have a fixed few degrees of movement each time.

Do expect a seatpost that works really well and with a bit of faffing its almost as good as the big hitters in the market. Also the black stanction looks really good.

Few things to watch out for:

    100mm travel only

Lever throw not quite long enough(resulting in preloading cable so its finicky to get spot on – even with inline barrel adjuster)

When it gets a bit crappy(err this is the UK) the lack of lever throw means it doesn’t always actuate the best, more tension on cable results in always activated so very bouncy seat post.

Best remedy we have found so far is a length of spring to go between the actuator lever and the cable stop. 3 weeks in and its working faultless.

For £100 its a no brainer as its very close to the boutique posts for very little money. Possibly requiring a bit more fettling along the way to keep lever action good

All of my vehicles, new or old, go to my local VW specialist Midland VW Their reputation is second to none but its really helpful when the owner is your best mate. :D

Warranty always upheld by Stealers for term of warranty but as said no goodwill gestures.

Happened very recently to be fair as I’ve been nailing BF4 before the BF Hardline Beta comes out today.

Anyway, playing on Campaign mode and as I’ve jumped out of a heli I’ve been attacked by a plane. Not once but a couple of times this happened.
Next time I’m up for a fight and low and behold I see the plane turn in the distance….gets the RPG out and waits while he comes closer, a fraction before impact I’ve let the RPG fire and BOOOOOM!!!! Takes out the plane mid air!!! Yeehaa jesters dead!!! 8)

    Not a dev but I do like a screen or two….or err hmm 3 22″ 1920’s, at work. :D
They were inherited a few years ago from an old business partner who had a PC to display his stocks realtime on a wall display. Did his best citytrader impression for a few years(including the coke n whores….in the office) then left in a blaze of glory one day declaring he’ll never work again.

At home its down from 2 purely as the PC moved so its a 27″ 2540×1440. Lovely bit of kit but I’m starting to get torn between 5k and superwidescreen, possibly even curved. I do game quite a bit.

11.5 stone kitted up and use a 203 front. Mainly Cannock but we do Stile Cop (DH/Mini DH) quite a bit so I leave em on for everything.

Also, I go through a set of sintered pads once every other year. Works for me.

OFCOM cant and wont do much about it so I believe as they are a regulatory body. Disputes on your bill should only be targeted at your provider. As this is a 3rd party SMS then your network will try and pass the buck or just leave the complaint in the system until you go away.

I deal with Veoo on a daily basis and it wont be those guys directly who are reverse billing but they can help you out. Failing that I can have a word with my contacts at Veoo to try and find out what you’ve signed up for.

Feel free to email my personal email at andy(..at..)andyhollandracing(..dot..)co(..dot..)uk

If editing video then an i7 all the way. Those extra cores will really speed up encoding and yes it does make a real world difference.

16gb of ram should be enough but depends what photo’s videos you have.

Build it yourself is easy. depending on CPU fan the mounting of that will be the trickiest as most aftermarket coolers don’t have thermal paste pre-added like the OEM option.

Your budget is fine for 2nd hand parts but I’d be looking at spending another 2/300 on top of that for something that’s more in line with the spec you want when buying new.

While my comment above stands about our Washing machine being Bosch, we did get given a Beko dishwasher from a friend who was having a complete new kitchen. This was 4 years ago and its still bang on.

Id be waiting until the NUC 2.0 is out, a whole heap of upgrades and improvements over the original. Not just better CPU but ability to run 4k monitors and USB3 headers etc.

Only down to the fact they brought along TheAirbag.net for the day which was most excellent fun. Never thought I’d be backflipping a MTB

Love it when this stuff comes around and us IT bods are the target for disgruntled employees. Use your computer correctly and there is no issue!!!

As someone who has seen .pst files that are 10gb+, it saddens me that people working with a computer on a daily basis are ‘allowed’ to continue to do so without prooving aptitude towards how to correctly use one in a business environment.

Saying this, I do however blame companies for their lack of system training. I mean you wouldn’t let the new employee loose on your all singing, all dancing 4D milling machine without comprehensive training.

Yet computers have become a machine that everyone uses mostly without formal training, let alone comprehensive training to company policy.

For the time I’ve worked at my current place, 10 years, yes. An incredibly healthy one too. Used to be way more when the company were doing really well but in the last few years its been a grand or so.

I understand I am very lucky!!

Shame the gaffers don’t gamble on horses like they used to, as that meant bringing the biscuit tin back in full of notes which were handed out.

I’m a telecoms worker and for the past 10 years I’ve always had my phone and broadband paid for. That said I’ve always had a car/van and pay very little towards it.

Side to side play while common is purely a result of the preload collar (4 small holes in outer plate on the hub) not applying enough pressure. Thats easily nipped up by using a pin spanner or the tool which came with them. Don’t over tighten though as that’s worse than slightly too loose.

The squeaking sounds dry, I’d be taking apart to have a look as they are simple to work on. As mentioned though if only 6 months old I’d be back to shop and let them sort it out.

    Does it require a warranty?

I’d buy em a 2/3 year old business machine that has Windows 7 pre loaded.

    I picked up a machine last week: HP Intel i5 2400 – 4gb/500gb – & Pro preloaded.

Sum – £200 (with no keyboard or mouse etc)

Why don’t you start with looking at what Garador themselves can do:

    Garador openers

No experience myself with them but I do occasionally hear the neighbour shout and swear when his auto one fails to work. He treats the door like it can hear what hes saying. Very amusing!

Is the building of the model part of the fun? Or do you just want to get out and thrash a car/buggy/truck about.

Loads of RTR kits out there with superior lipo battery/brushless motor combos that are way stronger than Tamiya kits.
