Schwantz or Roberts used to say: You can make a fast rider stop crashing but you’ll never make a slow rider fast!!!

Speedy Gino will be in Moto GP’s by 3 years…..you heard it here first!!

And yeah saw the guy get his head down….pretty impressive and an easy way to scrap a helmet.

Yeah he’s a bit good that lad, all the whinging and moaning he does all takes a back seat when you see stuff like this.

Sliding the front on the way in and seemless transition to light up the rear on the way out. Amazing!!!

Over Cannock myself, a couple of the lads arent turning up so i reckon it’ll be a quick blast around some trails then over to Stile Cop for some jumps and drops. (its gonna hurt)

Why would Hoogerland even try and break the pack only for him to be caught….and passed like he has been. Seems strange to put the effort in only to go backwards at the alarming rate he has done.

SS Stu….i dont think there is a place on Cannock Chase that isnt nowhere near Cannock.

Tazzym release the badgers…….I rode over a fern the other day and snapped it at the base of the stem. I do apologise and I went back up there later with a bandage and splint for the poor thing

Was an easy decision for me especially at that price. My frame looks new again……apart from they’ve now put a tapered headtube on that model

£65 and the only thing i had to do was washer up the headtube, Bottom bracket hole and the shock mounts points.

Keep at it mate, I also had the toes down style of pedalling. After forcing myself for 3 months its now a more natural feeling for me, i did move my feet forwards on the pedals so i was pedalling with the arch of my foot for a while.

I have the same issue with my feet too, I’m a left foot forward person so I rekcon i might have to force myself on the right a bit more. Strange really as i’m right handed and right footed but my left forward seems way more controlled.

My bike is like this but only one colour metal flake in the laquer…hang on i’ll get a picture…

I dont think its RAL 9005 (Black) but it does me. I had it powder coated last October and its more than stood up to the rigours of my ridings.

Not the best pic as it was taken on my blackberry and the sun wasnt exactly shining much but i hope you get the idea. I wanted stealthly black but with a bit of sparkle.

Works everytime my arse. Never had any of the two sets of Avids do it and neither me Hope.

IMO you have to do it by sight and spinning the wheel. Ensuring a gap at all times, finickey little job but worth the extra few mins sorting it properly. Pads should not even slightly touch the disc when not applied.

Didnt realise they did Rockshox stuff either….whens that gonna be available in the UK loco?

Keep practising, they will come eventually. Wheelying as opposed to manualling need constant smooth pedal strokes IMO.

Otherwise you’re upsetting the balance of the bike with each stroke, hence why so many have problems i would say. I’m no wheelie god but can usually go a good distance and its all down to smooth pedal strokes….oh and a bit of front wheel manipulation to keep you straight. Then go one handed (which are easier than you’d think) and then onto no handers(well i cheat and have one hand on the front of my saddle)

I cant believe that i’ve read all the replies and no ones mentioned the bestest most fantastic sarnie cutting ever…….

    The Sailboat!!!!

Can also be done with regular ‘square’ bread but you have to cut the bottom off to make it square and use it as the flag

I was thinking more about a mobile workshop, think medium sized transporter. Rather than collecting and dropping off the bikes i work on, I could turn up wherever, do the required work and then not have to transport the bikes anywhere. Although having a fixed workshop with countless storage would be the better idea, would hate to turn up somewhere and be missing out on that vital tool left back at base.

I’ve also toyed with the idea as being sat behind a desk all day really has got to me this year. In all fairness i dont want to leave a reasonably well paid job to be sitting in traffic for half a day and earning much less. Even though job satisfaction would be clearly much higher.

Pro 11 front bearing only last week.

Thought a bit of preventive clean and regrease would extend the life of em. Sadly I poked the lip seal out and must have had a bit too much penetration and brought out the cage for the bearings too. Thankfully its a 5 minute job to replace it.

Crell, your prediction couldnt be further from the truth. Scotty boy was lapped. Sad day for him there as I had high hopes for him too. Lets hope he comes back strong at Mugello.

At only 30 points Whoregay, and 56 behind Moaner there is no way Vale has given up. His new chassis is still being developed but you wait for Mugello next week where they’ve had some good solid testing.

If its a wet race i think we’ll see Vale on the podium(at last), if its dry then Simoncelli has it in the bag unless he does something stupid. Which lets be fair, he’s quite good at that part.
