thanks guys as you can tell "raw plug" is as far as my over heard knowledge :D haha and I cant spell at the best of times so Im patting myself on the back that you half know what I mean :D

I dont know how to describe the ceiling really its an old terrace house cottage and the ceiling sounds hollow everywhere but not sure if thats just because it doesnt butt up against the joists

ill take a venture to b and q and see if they come up trumps – do you think those self drill jobbies are the best option if I have to make an educated **** up?

zen broadband are the best in the land – fast – on it and 1 month contracts and really nice help people, but you pay for it £24 for 20gb cap 8mb speed. so probobly comes in your budget – no setup fee's and no free junk!

virgin are actually pretty damn good now ive just moved to them after 3years with zen because im going over my 20gb limit and virgin offer phone, line rental, unlimited upto 20mb connection for £15 cheaper than our phone / net and line rental deal at the mo.

worn out in what respect, surely if you keep on top of bearings and bushings it's got a longevity the same as most full suss frames?

backends are prone to cracking and bend fairly easy if you like your downhills

This year 4 of us roadtripped 2700 miles round the alps going into switzerland, italy and france, we went to soo many places
pila, alp du huez, les alps, les gets, morzine, morgans, crans montana, les du alps and many more that i have forgot as they all sound the bloody same :D it was amazzzing split between 2 of us per car in a car that struggled to get 350 miles for £50odd quid we didnt spend more than 800 each.

it was more expensive because we were going to lots of places but things you cant avoid are day lift passes work out about 20 euros a day.
camping works out 8 euros a head
food works out about 8euros a day if you buy it but we took cans and a cooker and pasta ect and made buttys so a bit cheaper
    petrol costs and toll roads

all in all i think if i made a consious effort to keep it cheap as chips it'd have been about 500 each for 2 weeks visiting most of the best tracks in europe and not just getting sucked into les gets like too many people do

well worth it highly recommeded, met some great people and road some immense tracks!

oops and me again :D you'd hide youre tweets in the place of the dash speakers, its an easy job just a little bit fiddley the first time..

personally car audio is really expensive and if you dont do certain steps it can be pretty pointless as you wont benefit from the upgrade / speakers

    alexxx

btw.. coax's are pretty crappy its all bodged into one and not too great, if your on a uber budget then yeah maybe (only consider if your not amping)

if you really dont want the amping costs then the best things to look at will be alpines speaker range thats designed to run from the head unit… see here…

    http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine-spe-17c2.html

but your standard golf headunit will be sending out crappy signals anyway so at minimum id advice a headunit and front speaker change!

having speakers installed in the rear messes up sound staging and makes it sound confused and whack.

mate trust me on this –

    you want these comps
    http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/spl-dynamics-sd-6-2.html

you want to unplug or fade out your rears completely

you'll need an amp if you want it sounding half decent because your headunit wont power it anywhere near enough

go for a 2 channel amp or 4 channel if your considering a sub in the future… ive got a 4 channel jbl amp powering those speakers and a 10" cheap vibe sub.

you could get away with a 10guage wire kit £10 – amp £80 second hand but mint and £70 for the sub + the £70 for the speakers… to be honest if you want it any better thats your best option 110% positive.

theres a campsite on the otherside of the road from the glentress hill and towards the town and at that tiny roundabout if heading away from glentress hill you go left, its really good hot showers – nice folk ect.. much recommended for camping.

Hey Mark, I hope you give it everything you've got and kick it into touch.. try not to let youre mind wonder, however hard. keep focused on facts you know and double check everything you hear, it might be worth signing onto bupa for fast tracked care if you feeling your not getting enough.

In the mean time funny animals cheers me up :)
