IMHO, above a certain amount that is very little, extra money makes nothing better. Leave and do something you enjoy doing instead of living for the weekend. Life is TOO short.
I tried asking if I could do that and the 'customer service assistant' said that it would probably just then sit in a warehouse for over a week before being returned to them – a bad idea.
I did try contacting my current provider and the best they could do after pulling all the string still worked out £10 a month for a 2 year contract more expensive. In the past I have had issues with the network anyway so I don't trust them enough to warrant the extra expense.
Distance selling regs are a 7 day (is that 7 working days?) cooling off period, I am pretty sure they will stall me for 7 days if I try. Call me cynical.
Well I went to carphone warehouse after work to have a fiddle – a bad idea.
I have just ordered a Desire.
It felt so solid compared to the Nokia – a shame really as I had a soft spot for the plucky phone, but I found a deal on the Desire that will work out cheaper than I could get the 5800 for (If I remember to send the bills back for the cashback!) Here's to being over-biked and over-phoned!
I am currently using a sim-only deal from vodafone for £15 a month but that includes no internet. I have a habit on hanging on to phones for a while and the 5800 is £20 a month with unlimited internet. So I may as well go for a contract.
Is there anything else to consider? HTC's get good write up but they are HUGE, the Nokia X6 dubbed the 5800's replacement is tacky and has the same issue/benefits as the 5800.
I dislike both the industry and the job and associated sectors. That is why I am cutting all ties (inc. my degree) and retraining in a totally different sector.
I am in the process of securing a PT job to help fund me through the year at college. It was my aim to wait until that was confirmed before handing in my notice.
I have found the Pikes really feel 'lost' in rock gardens, especially the sorts sound at CyB and other rockier trail centres. Seeing as I have these on my 'big' bike (I have an Inbred with Blackbox Rebas for tamer duties) I think the PUSH will work well.
But thanks for sharing your honesty on what you thought of PUSHed Pikes – I hope my experience is better than yours!
I can't see any wear on the ano, but that's not to say it does not exist under the air can. The shock has has an easy life with not an excessive amount of use. I do find it a bit wallowy but though that was down to the basic suspension design on the Hustler.
Its a 2005 unit, I think, but looks in good nick and holds all its air. I think I will ask TFT to give me a call when it is all stripped down and inspected – if its all tickety boo then I might go ahead.
The rear wheel is plumb in line with the seat tube, so I guess if anything is out its the rocker arm. All nuts and bolts are good and snug. But this would not account for the shock working one way and not the other would it ❓
O-Frames clear glasses? That's great! I have A-frames for snow sports that are way too small for glasses – I cut up an old pair and blue tacked the lenses to the insides of the goggles – worked well, temporarily!
