My DPS factory is behaving in exactly the same way. Did you ever get to the bottom of it?

A good way to seal is paint with a 50/50 mix of PVA glue and water. honest!

I bought a van with a similar style print out. It was only after comparing the milage on the MOT’s to the ‘service history’ i discovered something a miss. A print out is very easy to forge. Double and triple check these things before handing over the cash.

Tis an old car (over 10yrs old) so temp cover is unlikely i think. Shame. I feel its totally irresponsible for a major insurer not to be able to be contacted like this. No wonder people drive without insurance.

I love film cameras! tell us what you have and I might be able to save them from the tip and supply you with a few measly beer tokens!

I’ve had one out, and the molar next to it too. both just crumbled due to a cavity that left me with no pain (oddly). Done in the dentists chair, not a hospital. Wisdom tooth was pretty straight forward. no pain in extraction, just serious wiggling with pliers from the dentist for 1/2 an hour. felt odd and a lot of force was needed, but thanks to the local, no pain. Lots of blood tasted though! When the pain killer wore off, it felt as expected. Like i’d been socked in the jaw. nothing that simple paracetamol didn’t fix. Spent the next week paranoid about getting a ‘dry socket’! But all was well. The hole was covered by gum in a few weeks, jaw bone re-grew under the gum in about 7 months.

Somewhere with a pub (or 2!) and a shop is hardly going to be a culture shock, thats a heavyweight village really. Just make sure to contribute to village life and you’ll feel at home.

Strangely, we were talking about this plant at work today (I’m a trainee gardener for the NT) as our plants have produced lots of seed too. We were talking about the viability of UK-grown seed as many propagators advise seed to be brought from abroad as UK seed is often unviable for some reason (we could not fathom). So we too are experimenting with this! Good luck all!

Ive just built myself up a little mini kit with an 18×15 Yamaha stage custom (birch) bass drum, custom AM Drums 12×5 16 ply snare and some 13″ Dream bliss hi-hats! Nothing more. I might add a K flat ride when I can afford it.

    Its awesome!

Ive had a 310XT for a few years and would still buy the same again today if It broke! Ive got the quick release kit that means it fixes to your stem as well as your wrist and can be swapped in seconds.

Ive recently bought the 2014 Defy 1.

Nothing to report really. It just works.

The best tools I own (and I own quite a few) is the Halfords Advanced Professional 1/4″ drive socket set. It cost me £15 a few years ago and gets pretty much double the use than everything else. Especially as I seem to be tinkering more with bikes than cars theses day! Can’t fault it for the money.

    Totally fubar-ed,

but I gave my forks a huge gash (3mm long, 1mm wide, 1/2mm deep) three years ago in the alps. A quick rub down with wet and dry (some that i found in the foot well of my car) and a blob of nail varnish (not mine) and there has been no leaking or damage to the seals. Regular lowers services show no signs of crap getting below either.

    Have faith.

    Some great looking dogs here!

Drac – I’m loving life up here thanks. Moved out of Rothbury due to idiotic landlady but found a good place much nearer work (Wallington) which is ace! Its not so convenient for bike blasts compared to Rothbury though!

Ive got that makita with 2 small batteries and its perfect for me. The bats charge in about 20 mins and last longer than that most of the time so a fully rolling system can be used.

5 Spot is a good shout. Hemlock is a bit heavy for my needs. I’ve just sold my Nukeproof Mega as although it was an excellent frame, I felt over-biked 80% of the time. I’m liking the look of Saracen’s Ariel but they dont come up for sale very often at a good price just yet.
