i passed him on Oxford St 8 days ago, very short, but a massive legend. apparently only took 2 days for him to start complaining that breakfast wasn't big enough in the hospital………..very cool….

Snatch, but you may have to watch it twice to get the full effect
In the Loop, but warm up with some "The Thick of it" which will be looked at in the same vein as Black Adder and Brass Eye in years to come!! Armando Ianucci is a genius, or is Peter Capaldi the genius as Malcolm Tucker!!!

I have 2 boxes, 50mb broadband, the whole shabang, and i really like it. I only have one + box (the other is the old grey standard one) and it's great. I am sure the next ones will be better (more storage, better response) but at the moment i think their great.
I have the XL packcage and am due to ring them, tell them i'm leaving, and getting some off the bill (they have a tendancy to take the piss if you don't keep them on their toes).

    Good luck

PCP is personal contract purchase. It's the consumer version of Lease Purchase. You pay a small deposit, reduced monthly payments and the a balloon/final amount (usually beyween 35-50% of the purchase price)is payable when you sell the car……….

Also i'm sure bruneep might be right and you can check through Citizens Advice.

as an ex car dealer if it's a straight finance lease (no ownership) then you will most likely have to pay all the remaining payments (although read the contract as it may allow you out of you have paid more than x payments (it will be in very small writing!!)
If it's balanced payments then you should be able to get out immediately (but unlikely at 100/mth)
If it's Lease Puchase/HP then you can sell the car and hopefully clear the debt with little or no settlement…. From memory i think select 3 is HP, but cant be sure!!
    Good luck

P.S. if you cant get out you can always have a deal on the side with a mate and rent it out, but make sure you get it fully insured (and dont tell the lease company!!)

Sorry to hear your not doing too well, and can not really empathise as i'm not in the same boat as you (well not yet anyway!!) however i notice that you dont mention the accupuncture…….for 30 quid a session I would venture it's worth 120 just to find out. Dr Xing is on 01422 300322 hope this helps.

forgot to mention, acupuncture. I know it's not everyone but it definitely speeded up my recovery and i now use ot for general maintainance. Dr Xing, Tjunji Medical, Halifax. (bit weird to start with but worth it)

I had L5/S1 large prolapse diagnosed after an MRI end Oct 2009. I could still walk and move but had severe syiatic nerve problems, also pins and needles and some loss of strength in my right leg. My surgeon (Mr Tolessa/Halifax) said try to stay away from surgery of poss and i lived on Declofenac and at times backed it up with co codamol. Kept swimming and walking and tried to stop sitting for more than 15 mins. Got discharged from the physio yesterday, and prior to that have been back to the velodrome and also on the road 2hrs plus (road not mtb). Doing core stuff, and neuro stretching. Good luck, and when you feel like crying because you cant do anything just think that in the near future you will be back to doing what you want to do….

    Good luck mate

I had a prolapse (big, L4-5) diagnosed on the 31st Oct. I had the usual siatic pain all the way down, plus pins and needles and loss of strength in my right leg. First 6 weeks it eased slowly and i kept going to spin once a week but put the saddle about 1 inch lower than normal, and only stood up once in a while. HOWEVER Mrs Berry reccomended accupuncture (bad hip during pregnancy) and in the subsequent 5 weeks i am now doing 90% of my normal activity, no painkillers, very little tingling and the odd bit of discomfort in my calf, but i would 100% put my speedy recovery down to Dr xing in Halifax………now going once every 2 weeks just for a tune up. Hope this helps. alex

Bigyin–never mind the same money, if they've headhunted you the minimum they expect to pay you is the same plus 10%. Respect yourself and if they want you they have to pay. Quality counts in the end and every decent employer knows that….good luck man. AB

Interestingly tried that, but even my local "rock and roll" MTB shop Blazing Saddles, doesn't do used (which amazes me as i'm sure they can do some great deals and a great service getting people into the sport)

Appreciate new is similar to roadbikes.(500-700+ for anything 1/2 decent)….so i'm fully prepared for well used. What i'd like to do is get the right style well used, and then trade up assuming i dont get a nosebleed with the fat tyres and road noise!!!

however little i can get away with!! I'm not looking for a £50 ex halfords tractor, but neither am i looking for £2000 quids worth of Orange. If i could get away with a couple of hundred quid i'd be happy.
