Just installed the Arlo after reading this thread. The price has dropped to £79 per extra camera( with the new pricey upgrade due soon) – all seems really good, one above bike shed and one on front and back of house. The only concern is battery life, but as it tells you clearly on the App the level can’t see it being an issue

The CD rip is 256 kbps- is that a higher quality?

Long shot but maybe try sending a message to the band (agent / whoever or via official Facebook/twitter if they’ve got one), and see if they’ll let you have the instrumental track.

Likely they’ll ignore it or tell you to do one, or their management will.

Tried Twitter yesterday but no reply, they only have 6.5k followers and no post since the 7th of this month.

I know this might sound crazy, but do you/laddo have the song? Ie; a high quality wav or CD rather than just a Youtube rip. Might get better results, can’t polish a turd and all that. And if he’s gonna be playing it loud it’s gonna sound like garbage. No matter what you do with it.
We have the itunes download and it has been burned onto a CD, not sure on the bitrate from a Itunes issue though

If you want to try and rip a copy of that at the highest quality you can, I’ll give it a go with that.

as good as I can get it. As per article above, duplicated the track and filtered out the highs till the vocals disappears, then phased the other track.

still no great. got some horrible white noise where the vocals should be in the verses.

ThAnks, valve was sticking out a few mm. took it out and back in. Just a little hiss and not the long hiss.

Bike hut pump so was sure it was to blame. Any better pumps? I thought most were the same with a branded face. The fox pump was the same as the bike hut IMO.

We were playing the lego demolition editionon Sunday. It was a PSA on here last year I think.
Had to drill a hole in the trigger and put a paper clip in the hole. Tears after the first corner when son pulled the trigger completely and his creation is destroyed in seconds :(

With the Arlos what re chargable battery’s would last the longest.

I like the idea of them and think they would be safe from theft if installed just out sisde the upstairs windows. This would also save getting the big ladders from work to change the battery.

I dont fancy building my own. I have been putting my old spares on his bike and found the brakes. His rim brakes are working fine but Im sure he will be OTB with the upgrade. He had a few OTBs with the rim brakes on his CNOC16

Thanks all, I`ll try the cable option. Its not new its 2nd hand and is about 2 years old but all in very good condition. He has been riding a CNOC 16 and this is a bit big for him, he is almost stopping each time he changes gear. Might get him in the gym to work on his upper body strengh.

I have sram GXP carbon cranks, recently purchased so I done t want buy new cranks. To use the press fit 30 will I need to buy a new BB, tool to install & a tool to remove the current PF30?

I noticed on a kids bike site a Transition Covert and a Banshee Rune that run with both wheels sizes. I posted a wheel size question recently which left me quite confident that the wheel size wont be a major issue.
