Swapped the motherboard, GPU, RAM and CPU. Switched the power on and it booted exactly as before. Updated Nvidia and MSI drivers but nothing for Windows. No requests for any changes.
As mentioned above for the old laptop the upgraded PC has the same

for the Windows version currently installed.
Issues with a few bits of software, Rfactor 2 keeps going to black screen with sound and Forza 7 similar. But Iracing and ACC on full settings playing amazingly well.
Laptop will be 10 years old. Son is 10 next week, I tripped up the stairs the night he was born and cracked the two day laptop case. Nowt to do with the Windows issue though 😃

IMO the cheap ones are terrible and a constant battle to fly, tried a few and went for the DJI Phantom 3 (a year or so ago),
So easy to fly and at first I really enjoyed using it, but it became a pain with fewer and fewer place to fly/film.
Bought range extenders for the remote & loads of battery’s, used it a lot but sold after a few incidents.
Had a fly away at a beach in Scotland, was attempting to film a we island, over water away from people, over 500m away an 200m up got a low battery warning despite starting fully charged.The numbers kept going up so flicked the return to home switch the screen went blank. Loads of dogs and walkers about and I had no idea where it was until I briefly heard it. Was really nervous and glad I hadn’t registered or put my phone number on the drone (joking). After a while we tried looking along the coast for and felled walkers and dead dogs. Someone asking I was looking for a drone as I had the remote with extra big antenna.
He said it had just made a perfect landing on the path through the grass.
And another time it was downed by a yob throwing things at it :)
I’m sure with any equipment I own Spotify is as good as I need or can detect at 320kb/s.

Not sure I agree, even with my wireless Bose ear buds I think I can notice a difference. and I agree about the moving car, despite the car being quiet and having quality ICE SYSTEM ULTRA HD is not going to be noticed. Especially by an 8 year old who normally listens to Parry Grip :)
Driving back from London yesterday listening to Fuckbuttons on the decent in car entertainment system (using Amazon HD) and son thought it sounded awesome. Got in the house to find the wife listening and singing along to LEO SAYER.WTF
And I remember there was a thread on here about him so maybe it’s me try to be cool.

Quality is ace but I’m going to stick with Spotify.
The daily and weekly auto playlists are really good. Maybe that’s because I’ve used notify for so long and it knows what I like that these are finding so much new music to listen to.
For me streaming is amazing for finding new stuff is never of heard

We have loads to weigh in at the office for the Xmas bonus- sure it was about 1300-1400 beginning of the year.
One clown at work insisted on splitting up the bonus in February as it’s how he did it at his old place. We keep it all until Xmas. Last years was pathetic but he got an equal share despite starting in November. So he got his 20% then and agreed to nothing at Xmas.
This year it’s now huge and he is kicking off about how unfair it is that he is not getting any.
To me its a massive improvement, we have Denon Heos in the living room and it sounds really good. Although some of the more angry types of music sound better on non HD IMO.
But as a reformed semi pro stoner who now occasionally uses a dry herb vaporiser and listens to music….
I can now hear the same parts with my Bose wireless earbuds as I could after puffing the dry herb :)
RBS chased me to complete the forms they had sent me, got 2.5k as an unexpected gift.
I was stupid enough to take few out.
Cut n pasted the contents of the RBS application and sent them off to places that told me I had never and loans from them :)
Also had a rejection from Barclays about an Egg Card I had ages ago. Cut n pasted again into the forms linked in the rejection email to the Financial Ombudsman. £13.4K six months later and about a month after that another cheque. Cant remember amount, less the 2k.
We have 2010 IMac, external drive and an extra 16gb of RAM and it’s fine for all wife’s office work and basic video editing. ( struggles with 2.7k video never mind 4k though). Still looks amazing with the all in one screen design.
Sons iPad mini I bought on here six years ago with a rugged rubber case, it’s been used daily and although slower than mine it’s been fine for him.
Wife has had blackberry tablet, Samsung and a windows tablet and iPad and complained about them all 😐
I bought these for my new (to me) frame that has a Hope BBPF4130SS BB. just building now and they don’t fit. Have a live chat on CRC and was linked to buy the BB I have that disnae fit.
Is there an adapter or do I need either new BB or new cranks?

Family next to us got up and left after the 2nd “****” but their kids were older than him.
And son wasn’t impressed that the Rock was only in two scenes.
If I can keep the length under 200cm it’s only £19.99 on the long and light Hermes. Two are the same price and can be up to 30kg. May offer them in pairs to make the postage look less like I’m ripping people off 😃
