Did you fit three into the post 07 model?

We had two bikes and all the the other holiday gear for a weekend in the lakes in a 56 plate.
I have the roof bars from the 56 plate model to put on eBay and was going to get new bars. I am put off putting on the roof in case I forget and try and enter a height limited car park. I have find this recently with my van an scratched the roof badly. Although Halfords have the Thule roof bike carriers buy one frog bond half price.

Not played any BF since BF2, which version still has a decent xbox live (360) following and decent multiplayer like BF2?

BF4 still has a huge online player base. I have a unopened 360 version that I was going to sell but just checked CEX and they have it for £6 so Ill keep for the workshop Xbox.

This is a handy site to check, Uk has a few cheapest DL versions but not many.

I do not use the method described on the site to purchase from the Hungarian site so please do at your own risk.

    Oh more mixed reviews.

Some people on here can’t even pick up the correct version for their console so unable to rely on there expert opinion  @muttsnuts
I have gone for the Xbox ONE Download version from the Hunagry Microsoft site .
£25.75 including EA access discount so not to bad if it is terrible.

Just had a quick blast on multiplayer seems more like a COD map but may just be the map I player on.

I’ve got a tow bar mounted rack I’m looking to move on if you’re interested down the line. Its going on eBay on Saturday but I’d sell it for less on here.

Thanks for the offer, I’ll not be buying on just yet. Possibly next payday will be the earliest.

It is for 2012 Honda CRV. I don`t really want to be removing the bumper.

Fitting the tow bar was a mornings work, fitting the wiring was the rest of the day. Did save a bit of cash but took quite a bit of time.

I think ill pay for it to be fitted. Im working 6 days a week until August so dont fancy working all day on a Sunday. :(

We have just purchased the 2.0l i vtec ES-T auto without the extra bollocks.
Any tips on bike carrier for this model. Old one had a pain in the arse wrap around the spare wheel version so hoping for something easier to use.

Ace, thanks for all the comments, nearly all Pro Auto.

    We have a 56 plate 2.2 tdi
It was a 2.0l auto petrol 2012 plate. It was nice to drive but I only a had short trip along an A road, round a roundabout and back to the garage. Wife loved driving it and I had a very open mind after reading the posts above.

But put off by salesman trying to push 4 insurance products on us as extras. Body care, scratch care, wheel care & something else. Each was about £399. Told him we would come back on Monday.
    Now wife is pissed off

The only band mentioned that I remember fondly are CSS. Loved the first album, wife said it sounded like a shit female version of LCD Soundsystem

    elsh band sang 69 guns….?????
    Big Country

The Alarm was listening to them on Spotify, seen them live a few times when at school. First album still has few good tunes.
Sure I was told they merged with Big Country and tour now. This may not be correct

If you get a Console without Kinect you can get one cheap from CEX. If you buy the the right game bundle you can trade the unwanted games for a Kinect.

I have not been through all this thread but remember a previous one by the OP.

Don’t you work long night shifts?

Being 17 and away from home with somebody nearer your dad’s age dose not sound that great.

Do you supply him with his own room or does he share with you?

I have worked all over the UK and parts off Europe away from home earning decent money. But when away working nights came up I always refused. I **** hated it. Working away and nights installing data networks we were earning 60k+ with food allowance and own room included. This was in my late 20s not when I was 17.You also spent hardly any of your own money as working night limits spending time. On European jobs you would work for 12 days then return home but UK jobs we would come home at weekends. Money is not what makes a happy life if your mates are having a good time at home.

Just to save me trawling through all the previous posts what is the benefit of wifi for this, is it simply to upload without cables?
    Thanks

I have a Contour HD and I have recorded days of filming the ground or front wheel. Being able to look at what the camera can see when it’s on my helmet is why I think the wifi to phone will be handy.

This a bit of an email chain. We have a long long term hire with Apex, and swap vans every 9000 miles. This one had 2100 miles and was never loaded with anything heavy. Clutch went.
Vauxhall paid in the end after a month of emails and they also paid for a hire car for a month as I went on holiday for two weeks and left the car on my drive. I am sure this is not a common problem but Vauxhall were a nightmare to deal with. I now have a Ford transit Custom .

    Subject: RE: DU** FMG

The cost of repair (inc VAT) is £1,422.56

Unfortunately we are in the hands of Vauxhall and their Technicians

You can request an independent review of the clutch (you would need to advise Vauxhall this is what you are doing) and see their outcome but unfortunately, if not deemed still as warranty then the independent inspection would also be charged to you

Sorry about this, but this does happen – we have had this numerous times previously on new vehicles where they have done a few thousand miles and the investigations have deemed to be non warranty

Let me know what you wish to do

    Many thanks

    Lou

Cool, that must be what the Royal Mail card is for. I didn’t expect it so quickly. Amazon and eBay sellers who say they are UK Based don’t always turn out to be.
£66.11 for camera, extra battery and external charger, I used ” BGdeals “code for a discount.

Might not be as the name on the front doesn’t state SJ 4000. I might have read somewhere that only genuine models have SJ 4000 and/or SJ Cam on the front.

    Here’s the one I bought.

Thats the one I went for. Did you get it from the UK warehouse option?
And how long did it take for delivery?

I went to Mayrhofen in Austria 2004 at Christmas. Did not view any snow on the bus journey from the airport and the lady at the hotel said the slopes had been green until a few days before we arrived. The first few days your were boarding through patches of mud and grass, but after that there was plenty of snow.

Loving all the middle class/1st word problem comments comments and similar. I think it cost around £500 :D

“Note this is for downloaded games”

Hi, thanks for buying my tip on saving 1000s of £ for the Xbox One!

I have done this myself and already saved £20 on COD Ghosts!

All you need is paypal and to get a US address from https://www.borderlinx.com/

First of all on your console go into settings/system and change your language/region to US and restart the console.

While it is restarting log onto xbox.com and sign in. Go to payment and billing and then press change region. Change this to US and then add a paypal account.

Fill in all the details and when asked to put an address in use any from https://www.borderlinx.com/

Now go back onto the xbox and go to store. Click the game/dlc you want and it should show in $

Click to buy and use your paypal.

    Done!

Now you have saved roughly £20 and even better you dont have a disk!

Then simply just go back to settings on your console and change back to UK and do the same on xbox.com.

If you need any help please email me and i will walk you through it.

Also microsoft states that this is a multi- region console so therefore should be allowed to do this.

However! I’m not responsible for anything that could happens once you have done this. I know 100s of people that have done this and nothing has happened. I’ve also done it myself and works great with fifa coins on fifa 14! Save loads on packs for ultimate team :)

Thanks again and please leave feedback

Apparently the WHO and CDC need to be a bit more upbeat about Ebola. So perhaps a reworking of ‘Walking on Sunshine’ would be more acceptable.

Never heard of CDC but ain’t Townsend still struggling to finnish his book so will not have time for charity record.

Assume you’ve throughly cleaned the brew unit and made sure it us all free moving. If so check and clean wear it slots into.
I had same problem on a Gaggia Titanium and checking the above sorted it allowing the mechanisms to cycle round fully.

Thanks, Ill try again cleaning the inside. Have tried using little brushes to clean it all out.

My wife tried to use the compartment that lets you bypass the grinder and use pre-ground coffee but it all ended up inside the machine so your tip could be spot on.

Recently got the same model. How old/how much use has yours had before needing fettling?

It will be nearly 4 years old. Used daily until recently, and when we first had it we had just had our son and my wife was using/abusing all day for about a year. Great machine.

Peaky Blinders. First series was brilliantly dark, violent and moody. Superb casting too. Series two kicked off on Thursday.

Started watching this today. 3 in and it’s pretty good. Wife loves it and is amazed at the choice in music used.

I don’t know, it was nice for once that it worked out okay after the gut-wrenchingly bad decisions he’d made leading up to it.
But some areas that really stood out as painful – the first the ‘tension’ of the potential of a car not being able to drag a 12st person out of a hole and the rope (very thick) potentially snapping (utterly unconvincing) and the bits in the last episode when ‘The Driver’ was stood around in the room with the hardened criminals – surely a new boy (who is only a driver) wouldn’t be in on such meetings at all. Then he was able to slope off to the toilet and his ‘mate’ could follow him in and proceed to have a big chat without arousing suspicion – this is a new boy and the slacker who’d just been beaten up for being feckless. Surely that would have set alarm bells ringing?

But overall I kinda enjoyed it.

yip the bits with John Harts character in the toilet didn`t work very well. The whole of the last episode was rushed IMHO.

With 15 mins left I was left thinking there must be another episode to go. David Morrissey was ace as he has been in most of the stuff i have seen. I remember “One Summer” when I was at school being great.

I don`t think it was a nice ending. He is **** now and the only positive thing is the return of his son.
