you lot know nothing, I tink you'll find pink is actually a masculine colour and blue is a femenine colour. Also moist bints in flowery frocks do it for me, mind you so do big uggers. I'm not fussy, now where are we with those ahem pics. :-)

why don't all the stw girls post up topless pictures of them selves and us men folk can rate you purely on appearence, then follow it up with some misogynisitic coments. That would be interesting.

rj why are you selling? Is it because you have a bad back from riding a 4x/jump/hack bike as an xc bike or just because? Also only interested in the frame headset seat clamp and seat post and chain guide. Krag did you have ns surge set up 1 x 9?

pikes. I've had mine for about three years, only had to change the seals and oils myself, though the bushes are starting to fade a bit now.

Yeah I kind of thought trailstar, looking at the ns surge and the trail star there is very little difference except the head angle on the surge/blender is a good 4 degrees steeper, the rest of the geo is pretty similar. I think the trailstar has a slightly longer tt as well.

    What frame you got?

I understand that they're slack but so are orange 5s infact the head angle is the same, if you use 160mm forks, I have 140mm forks, would probably set them to 120 or 100 and remove the travel adjust. There seem to more jump specific bikes by both of these companies. The description on the web site say 4x jump and short hacks. The only xc rides I go on are pretty much short hacks I do have a bmx but I can't ride 4x tracks on that. Really want to ride some 4x tracks, pretty much the only xc I do is out in the peak or trail centres, do have some reservations about really long rides out in the peak but they're fewer and far in between.

Really looking for an all rounder as aposed to a jump or xc specific bike, I know I'm gonna have to compromise at some point over what I want, I also don't want to spend too much money.

I'm pretty sure there is absolutely no evidence that killing people convicted of attrocious crimes is in any way a deterrent. The only plus I can see is that these criminals cost alot more alive then they do dea. So here is my proposal. If they have repeat offended twice ie three crimes then it the death sentence, if they have been found guilty of murder/rape/any other serous crime then kill them. If they have any dissability without commiting a crime then kill them, if they are a minority group in any way then kill them.

They are more jump orientated but you are supposed to be able ride them all day, according to the jive that they talk on both websites, a bit like an origional trailstar I guess. There is alot of marketing guff though so I was wondering if anyone else had experiences of this?

Did any one ever see the TMWRNG (Lee and Herring) alternative film endings, such as the alternative ending to Brave Heart…. 'This film is at best historically inaccurate and at worst morally and socially irresponsible'. Had an alternate end to Saving Private Ryan which was equally good involving the old lady at the end confessing to an afair. Brill.

So your argument is that because we already have these two legal drugs that can kill you, we should therefore have more?

I love how people on here talk about it being dangerous when 600 people every quarter are killed or seriously injured on the uk roads whilst on a bike

Ian you are choosing to believe what you want. Like has been said before drugs being illegal doesn't stop them from being used. If anything it glamourises them. Also there are many daily activities much more dangerous such as driving, walking down a pavement, cycling. You will die t some point any way and most things in the world have the potential for shortening your life span. As long as people are able to make informed decisions they can stay safer.

That is kind of my point. There was still an anti ecstasy campaign from her parents and some tabloid papers. Where as it was the legal drugs and water that had the greater impact on her. I believe and I'm not 100% sure on this but I believe that no one has ever died soley from ecstasy.

    +1 dazh

Publicised deahs from mcat? publicised deaths from alchohol? Did Leah Bets die from ecstasy or from a cocktail of ecstasy and alchohol? How many deaths from asprin paraceetamol, ibuprofin have been splassed all over the tabloids? There is always an agenda behind what we see and read. I think that some people need to open there eyes a little wider. One of the reasons illegal drugs are so lucrative for dealers and potentiall dangerous is because of the illegality of them. If they were properly controlled + taxed by the government they would be alot cheaper and safer. Also alchohol and cigaretts in certain circumstances are by far the most destructive drugs available. Just look at the vast majority of down and outs in you city centre they're drinking cider and smoking fags.

Just ride brakeless then you'll have little choice in going over big jumps once you've got the speed. I ride with a brake because I like the option of pussying out but brakeless will be a very steep learning curve.

I have a fly diabalo frame 21" tt, some profiles, front wheel, back wheel, sproket, stem, brake, headset, seat post. All its missing is forks and bars. Really nice bike to ride. Not twitchy at all.

Stellbull, BullBull, FosBull. All of these drinks require a pint glass, a half of either bulmers, stella or fosters a can of red bull and some vodka, preferably singles but if you're man enough doubles.

If you are in a state where you consider these to be god options then you are probably completely wasted. Good laugh though.

Not entirley on topic; but there is some relevance….

It was Nelson Mandela's 20th anniversarry of his release yesterday. When He was released people thought he would sponsor ANC action but instead he said that he wanted reconcilliation and forgiveness for those who had put him in prison, and for all of SA for that matter.

Family is family, it is better to swallow your pride and deal with it then never speak to people again. However nasty, horrible or annoying they are.

Don't bear grudges and remember that time heals all wounds. Cheesey I know but I think its true (to a certain extent).

You don;t have to stop seeing people, if they choose to stop seeing you then thats fine but don't ever shut the door.

As DJ Hype ones sampled… Peace Love and Unity :D

Don't wan't to hijack the thread but my better half and I are moving to NZ on a working holiday visa in November. I have a couple of mate already living in Aukland. I have a couple of questions. First off is it true that once payed for the WHV will be put straight through. ie We don't need to purchase on until the time we're flying out? What is emplyment like for graduates? I have a BSc in automotive technology with experience in Technical Sales and my GF has a BSc in phycology and sociology with experience in HR. Finally who is the best person to fly out there with? I have looked and it seems whom ever I fly with it is cheeper to get a return than a one way ticket.

Neither of those graphs take into account the coeff of friction. Those test are basically done on a tarmac road with 60a tyre compounds on the flat. What about in mud from last nights rain whilst pointing down a 100% into a corner on bald road tyres or conversly very grippy spikes. The nominal power of brakes is more or less meaningless in itself because brakes can only ever be as good as the tyres and the surface they're stopping you on.

By the way I have old Saints with xtr levers and goodridge on my glory no problems ever and xt's with old saint levers on my xc reign 160mm rotors and never had problems with them except pump, ocaisionally.
