totally agree for the past year due to financial circumstances i havent fannied about upgrading bits and pieces like i normally would then 6 months later sold it and bought something new,I have just ridden my bike and ignored all the nice new shiny tempting parts it doesn’t seem to have had a diverse effect on the fun i have when cycling if anything i never had so much fun in years

stumbled across the Fence collective in 04 purely by chance was kinda put off with the
folk tag but it is so much more first homegame was a revelation

As a Homegame regular (Fence records annual Anstruther festival)
I would suggest the the best place to start would be on fence records site
try Pictish trail,HMS ginafore and as mentioned above lone pigeon and Pip Dylan
all fantastic Kenny has put out a load of albums on fence all of them worth a punt

Love the Trials gloves idea i had an old pair of Jofa’s that i used on mines back in the day(what is at about gloves i never held onto any other old kit) but these were sadly lost in a garage clear out a few years ago

Had a pair of the super poobahs loved em got around 5 years out them sole never split but began to perish

iv’e always found Dundee quite a nice place, like every city it has its dodgy areas but there
easily avoided ,we have mates in Carnoustie so were up that way quite a bit

house sale had fallen through that morning so on a bit of a downer,went to the beach with my wife and daughter
to lift our spirits met a guy in the car park on our way home who mentioned he'd heard on the news about a plane crashing into the twin towers like a few people before i assumed it was a light aircraft accident,got home flicked on the TV couldn't believe what i was seeing sat up all night watching it on CNN
i'll spare a thought for those who lost there lives that day
