Oven is working it’s the hob that’s not…

There’s only the power “button” that can be touched upon startup – possibly I had a pan on the hob when I powered it up but this was never an issue before. It was isolated overnight and tried again this morning but no luck. All other appliances are working (oven, grill, kettle etc). The fuse was tripped when I came yesterday evening. I’ll call the network distributor…thanks for the help.

I’ve checked the manual and there is no error code shown on the display that matches those listed. Cheers though

Our 6 month old only went for 40 minute naps (3-4) per day and only up u til she was 12-13 months old did she shift her nap pattern to an extended 1hr to 90 minute nap.

If you see him on a regular basis then have a quick look in his golf bag and see what brand of ball he plays and while you’re at it try and see if the size label of his golf glove is still attached then get him a couple of good quality cabretta leather gloves from Titleist or I think Srixon and footjoy do them as well. Voucher for somewhere like Function 18 clothing could go down well.
Personalised tees from lees tees are pretty good novelty wise and u can get anything printed on them that you want…I got my brother in law who is blind in one eye a pack with “in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king” printed on them.

I’ve got a pair of these Snugs http://www.natureshop.co.uk/collections/snugs-mens-footwear-slippers/products/snugs-snowdon-chocolate which are all what I want from a slipper. Rubber soles so a dash to the log store isn’t out of the question, Lego proof and pretty damn cosy. 30% off at the minute too which isn’t bad

Sorry DD – blooming autocorrect!! I just find it hard to believe that this type of mental & physical fatigue happens when Ireland really only had 2 big games in the World Cup against France and Argentina. How much rugby have the likes of heaslip, Healy, sexton, kearneys etc actually play since the end of last season? I’d imagine not a huge amount although the training camps can obviously be pretty brutal. some of the sections have been a bit strange too…not selecting an international full back in Kerchner (sp?) and playing Madison who is at best a utility 10/12 and has limited experience in he back 3.

Dad – what’s your opinion on (if you have one) on the likes of Keith Wood stating that Leinster in particular are suffering from post World Cup physical and mental fatigue?

See if there is a midweek Leinster Development or AIL rugby match on that kicks off in the evening? Check out what’s on at the Board Gais Energy Theatre or the Gaeity Theatre? I think there’s a music venue called Whelans you could see what’s on there or if there is anything on at Vicar Street? Comedy club?
Trinity college do public lecture series so worth a search?

Or just take a book into a nice pub and have a few pints of Guinness and relax.

Slight thread jump but can anyone recommend some nice round bottomed whisky glasses? It’s a gift for my brother in law. I’ve seen the Normann Copenhagen ones below but shipping rates are huge from online stores and there is a couple of dodgy reviews on the Amazon site about the seller/product.

I’ve got a couple of Talisker etched ones but I think they weren’t available as a stand alone product.

Can anyone recommend a ski boot bag – I’m not into skiing so am pretty clueless. I thought this one looked ideal but I don’t want to buy her a crap one:

We have a small river at the back of the house which can go from a nice quiet to a fairly fast torrent during heavy rainfall. Obviously you get used to the noise of the river once you’ve moved in. We have a 1 year old kid and I imagine in the future I’ll have to fence the river off from the property eventually so that might be a consideration if you’ve got grandkids. I suppose other good points could be it attracts wildlife and you could run some lights off the river using a turbine like the priest that lives next door to us does! Not any negatives I can think of but not many pure positives either.

Build a simple container crane model which uses a reel to lift boom up and hang weights off it yntil your thread/wool/wire/fishing line breaks. Interactive as the kids could add the weights in the form if selo taped coins…

Not that it matters now but how late does a hit need to be for the TMO to intervene – in the vine I’ve seen Hogg is hit 3 seconds after the ball leaves his foot?

I know it’s because we are on the receiving end of excellent maul play by SA but how are you meant to defend this-from a viewing point of view it is dull & trying to explain the rules of it to people gives me a headache

To throw it to 2 then drive blind from the lineout was criminal…poor decision from the England leaders.
Losing Vunipola was massive for England…poor substitutions from Lancaster…Ben Youngs was having an excellent game with Farrell…crazy

Just used Ryanair/Hertz combo – booked car on 14th June for 10 days @ €241. Go to check in online this morning and see that I can upgrade my car to an ‘Intermediate’ for less than I originally paid €179 so a refund coming my way. Worth checking the booking nearer the flight time to see if this happens again in the future.

Hi Pacer-I’ve had 3 knee surgeries – 2 cartilage arthroscopy and 1 ACL + cartilage – on the first 2 I didn’t do what was asked of me post op and the post op care wasn’t great and I suffered because of that. However after the 3rd op, done in Bristol, I did everything that was asked of me by the physio and the post op care was class. The difference this made was huge.
My advice is that it is imperative you do the post op exercises and the preop exercises until you’re blue in the face. Things like leg extensions with a towel under your knee, glute work, hamstring strengthening and proprioception work etc. I’m sure the exercises have come on in the last 7 or so years since I had mine done but I’m sure you’ll get sorted.
