No – it’s costing something in the region of 30 million Eur for the security at a time when 30 million Euro isn’t available…

From a GB and Ireland relationship point of view it’s a good thing in my opinion. It hasn’t been talked about in my office (Co. Limerick) at all…

Aye, no problem. I use two Atera Giro AF bike carriers together with a very old Jetbag box which is the same shape as this one.

Had two bikes hanging off the ceiling pulley type bike rack in a flat and was well impressed with them. If you haven’t got high ceilings then maybe this type of rack could be used to hook on to the frame as opposed to the handlebars and the ceiling. This way you could take the pedals off and the bike could be flat to the ceiling. Gogmy pulley cycle rack from TK Maxx and Gear Bikes Glasgow.

Seems like a the type of person who deserves a slap.

Same could be said for Henson.

Who is he going to play for now given that he got sacked by Toulon – what a total pillock. Overrated, egomaniac. Will any other half decent club take him on with the amount of baggage he has?

Brel in Ashton Lane for some Belgian Beer and a big pot of mussels. The Rio Cafe on Woodlands Road for a good pie, beans and chips and a pint of Belhaven. Ketchup on Ashton Lane for a good burger (only disappointing thing is fries are an extra). Mother India for a good curry. Asia Style on St Georges Road for a Chinese (never went but apparently very good).

Can’t understand the gas barbecue – might as well stick it under the grill. No charcoal, no point IMO.

I’m 6’5″ (17 1/2 stone) and have a 2005 21″ Cove Handjob and I really enjoy riding it and the fit is good – I have got a laid back post but that’s by the by really. Got a set of Fox vanillas on it – lovely to ride.

That’s a joke – how can Dylan Hartley get 27 weeks for a similar incident and Cueto only get 9!? As AA says Rees got 12 weeks for accidental contact! This has no place in rugby and like it or not guys like Cueto are people who kids look up to and want to emulate. Yet gain inconsistencies in ban lengths by disciplinary panels…

Would love Rory to finish it off in style, he’s got to have learnt a lot from the disaster 2nd round at St Andrews. Also gunning for Luke Donald to do well. Looking forward to a night in front of the golf!

but his sponsors want him to use the huge drivers so they can sell bucketloads if he wins.

True, according to this they need it!

Some of the tools who do that ought to get themselves in a Superleague or NRL game – there’s no time for eye gouging when someone straight arms you at head height.

Plenty of time for John Hopoate to get his greasy mitts involved though .

Played rugby union for a long time but love to watch league – hard as nails those lads.

Wasn’t Healey talking about the nugget who got sent off after charging into his own teammate, rather than the gouging?

Don’t think he was. That’s grim, totally can’t understand why any player would even consider doing this to another. It does not look good for Cueto could be 6 month ban if not more?

Merida Speeder here with bar ends, mud guards and panniers. 700cc Schwalbe Marathons. 36 mile round trip started this week. I’m around 17.5 stone and even with the rear panniers the factory wheels haven’t budged.

Love the bike, very comfy and delighted I went with it.

    Will be buying brand new.

Would like to raise the height of the front of the bike by a wee bit as well but I’ll have to measure what is on the bike at the minute height wise. Orange F8 and Salsa 44 are the front runners as carbon may be overkill but I’ll have a think.

    Not sure I follow what you mean, why aren’t 26″ x 11/4 – 13/8 comparible to 26 x 1.5. Basically what tubes for:

And I really am not joking.

It wouldn’t be a joke if you battered the farmer for doing something he is within his rights to do. If you cannot ensure your animal is under control when around animals like sheep you run the risk of it being shot – it seems pretty simple to me.

My bro in law shot his own alsation last week as it had attacked his pregnant pigs and caused a good bit of harm to the poor animals plus they may have lost their piglets.

Here’s three of my four broken Global knives. All broke in the same place. Two have been replaced under Global’s ‘lifetime’ warranty, but I’ve been told the replacement’s are only warrantied for a year.

What were you doing when those broke?
