I was running Easton Havoc carbon bars with a 70mm Easton Haven stem & it felt spot on reach wise, but too high front end.

That’s when I started looking for a wide flat bar or one with less rise.

I chose the Thomson Trail Carbon bars as the replacements.

The reason for posting this thread is I’m wondering if I will need to revert back to my 55mm stem before selling it, which it sounds like I will.

My setup was making a grinding noise & skipping cogs when I back pedalled yesterday.

I adjusted the cable tension very slightly (tightened) & it went away.

But, if you remove a spacer from the drive side to gain a better chainline, would you not have to put it in the non – drive side?

The Pro 2 has a 15mm O/D axle.

The Pro 2 Evo has a 17mmm.

I know the Evo can be changed just with end caps, not sure about the older Pro 2.
