    Based on red routes:

    Glentress i’d say.

Inners red route climb is a bit of a struggle – not sure the descent is worth it.

    Spooky Wood is awesome!

Been going to Glentress for years and only discovered the black boundry trail by accident coz Spooky Wood was closed for an Enduro Event – it is excellent! – still to try Deliverance, but heard it is wicked too.

    +1 for Golspie descent :)

I think you decide early on in life if having kids is for you. I knew when i hit my late teens i wanted to have kids and looked forward to being called Dad one day, glad i waited though, because………..

I never met Claire until i was 28, i soon realised she would one day be my wife, we both wanted kids and when we got married on 28.11.09, we wasted no time practising ;)

Inevitably she fell pregnant and on 06.11.10 she gave birth to a healthy baby boy! – Jamie :)

We love him to bits, would’nt change him for the world.

    The flip side is:

    I love biking!

Not just the adrenaline rushes of pelting downhill, but the escape from reality, time to unwind and forget about the stresses of general day to day life. Plus the bonus of the banter with good mates en-route and during – makes it all the better.

The mates and i used to go regular and it is harder to go now at the drop of a hat.

Hoping that the arrival of No. 2 in mid November does’nt mean my trusty Nomad will gather dust at the back of the shed!

    To be continued……………………………

Hard to say really, i’d try 40 p.s.i. first – easier to let air out :)

    I run mine at 40 p.s.i.

Im tubed up on a full-bouncer and weigh 16 stone.

P.S. These are by far the sweetest tyres i have ever used :)

Tried Kenda Nevegals, Panaracer Rampage (seriously bad) Maxxis HR 1’s / 2’s – Not a patch on the Conti’s!

    What frame are you getting?

If he has the correct phone number and just not calling you back, i’d take your business elsewhere.

If you spend that sort of money on a frame, i’d be looking to get headset / bb fitted for free.

My lbs Cycleworld in Arbroath, Scotland are getting my green Cotic Solaris in mid July and headset / bb facing and fitting are included – top man Chris :)

Loose your LH shifter and go 1 x 9/10!

Suppose it depends on the riding you do but for Trail centre riding it’s perfect.

    I run my SC Nomad 1 x 9 with a 32T chainring :)

I hope they both decided to back there LBS’s and buy from them instead, thus keeping them afloat and open………….

The sad truth of the matter is bike shops are closing due to Ebay, CRC Merlin etc. – Soon there will be no-one to fix our bikes and we will need to rely on videos via Youtube to face our headtubes / BB’s, set-up gears, bleed brakes and cut steerers etc. – Oh and buy / share the appropriate specialist tooling

    R.I.P. Bikework, Dundee :(

Good coming from me, AKA Delboy ;)

Won’t find any of that in Dalbeattie!

You will find out what i mean when you get there :)

Dumfries has much more choice for pubs and resturants and even a nightclub!

Im heading to Dalbeattie in the summer with a few mates

Seen your in the area – Kirroughtree is a must try!!! :)

The mag-ti will be a little softer/weaker but is sooo light.

That is my worry, im 16 stone you see!

Can’t see a weight limit on there website re. the pedals – might be worth emailing them about it,

    Cheers,

    Alan.

    Sorted now! :)

Removed spacer from drive side and re-installed it on the non-dirve side – Sorted and all gears work fine with no rubbing on chain guide!

    Thanks for all the replies

My chain guide is ISCG mounted, i was thinking it was bb mount – dumb ass! :-)

I have spoke to my lbs re the issue he reckons i should take out the 1, 2.5mm spacer in the drive side and see how that goes???

    Will try that tomorrow.

I sold the DHX 5 Air in the pic and now have an RP23 and find it much smoother and more consistant.
