I’m choking a little at the thought of spending £500 on a Solaris – just seems a bit dear….

Buy one, if you don’t like it, i will personally refund you the £500 – that’s how confident i am that you will fall in love, as i have with mine.

    Thankyou please.

Sweet looking seat stays and clamp! :-)

Surely could have designed it with clearance for forks tho?

Take out of bike, unscrew wee air cap on the bottom, screw on pump, charge to 200 psi

    MAKE SURE IT WORKS, THEN:

unscrew pump, screw on wee air cap, done ;)

Take it you have checked the air pressure? :)

I took delivery of a shiny new one for my Solaris yesterday and thought it was knackered due to slow return speed, turned out it had very little air in it :)

    Alan.

    I went for an XL.

I suppose that I should call Cotic and see what hey suggest as well.

No offence to Cy or Paul at Cotic, they suggested i went for a L, but due to my Giant hybrid measuring up similarly i decided on an XL and glad i did!

It is a perfect fit :)

After he never replied to my second offer, i decided to just do it by the book, so i could’nt possibly do anything dodgy?

    UPDATE:

Thought id share the news with you, the reason the seller cancelled my bids was:

aggressive buyer. asked to sell outside ebay numerous times

This however, not surprisingly it utter nonsense!

I made him 2 offers, mentioning once that i could pay him direct.

None of my messages to him could ever be classed as aggressive.

Well – we did it! :)

Yesterday, weather could not have any better, sunny, warm – no wind or rain.

    We followed route 77.

Dalwhinnie to Blaire Atholl was excellent, fast and quiet, notiecably downhill.

Blaire Atholl to Perth was enjoyable, but mostly on roads, all be it b roads with very liitle traffic.

It was 62.25 miles, took us 6 hours which included a few breaks.

A thoroughly fabulous day out with mates that i would do again – as soon as my tender rear end heals! :)

    A few miles past Dalwhinnie:

    Alan – nice nips ;)

Snack time! – House Of Bruar:

    Lunch time – Aviemore:

Where did u get yours so cheap?

I noticed On-One were doing some for £300, then the swines bumped them up to £400!

Now they don’t even have them on there site???

Rorschach – did you buy 140’s and change them to 120?

Does doing this change the axle ~ crown length or just limit travel?

    relatively flexy

    That Youtube video looks worrying!

Im not light at 16 stone.

RS Revelation was my 1st choice, might stick with them – Srams website is a bit vague though:

    29″: Dual Air: 120/130/140mm

Does this mean the travel can be adjusted or is this 3 different forks?
