Using a 10L Evoc & its fantastic, all your bits & bobs will fit.

Use mine 99% of the time for Trail riding & find it spot on.

I switched from a Dakine Nomad that was brilliant, but too big.

Also had a Sram, think it was a PC-1…..

Absolute garbage! – snapped on me twice.

Now running a KMC with no issues.

Not had much luck with the rf rings with a clutch mech & top guide, lost the chain a lot on continued rocky dh’s and almost every time I got airborne.

You checked chain length? – Sounds like it might be a bit on the long side?

You shouldn’t be dropping your chain with that set-up…….

Used a Camelbak Mule a few years ago which was good.

More recently a Dakine Nomad, also good, but a bit big for trail centre riding which is when I use it most.

Just got an Evoc 10L & is definitely the best of all, very comfortable, lightweight, well designed & a perfect size.

Also drooling over a Stumpy 29er on Bikescene.

The Evo version has a lower bb, seemingly the non-Evo one is the one to go for…..

I prefer the colour scheme of the Evo tho :?

The Protection BC ones couldn’t be more different, and I can’t fault them.

    +1 :-)

Id say ud need an XL in Gore then.

XL Endura fits me fine, but XXL in Gore.

Also depends on the cut tho, as they do slim fit & standard cut.

    Windolene works wonders.

Use it to get them on, leave it overnight & they will be good to go in the a.m.

Not sure of the RAL code, but Paul at Cotic advised me to get Tamiya X15 Actylic paint for touch up.

Using a POC Trabec Race atm, it is an awesome helmet in every way.

Two good reasons to buy one:

    1) Better protection than the Xar & Flux

    2) Can handle multiple impacts before needing replacement.

Simples, go pull that trigger! :-)

    My XXL 61cm Specialized Roubaix:

Note, headtube is long to give the front end a much more upright position.

Im 6′ 3″ with a 35″ inside length & find it spot on – the bars & saddle are near enough in-line.

I bought a pair of VXi’s for going on a recent long weekend trip to Dalbeattie, wore them at Ae & Mabie & can honestly say, they are the best mtb shoes ever! :-)

    Go on, treat yourselves……..

Do not give it to her!

If she has involved her insurance, then the matter is now in the hands of them & your solicitors.

I have just this week accepted a full & final settlement for an RTA I was unfortunately involved in back in January 2012! – So don’t hold your breath & NEVER accept there 1st offer, what im getting compared to what I got fobbed off with 8 months ago is very significant indeed! :-)

I assume you are ok btw?

    All the best,

    Alan.

Get yourself to your local Specialized dealer (as I did today) they have a jig that measures your sit bones & a range of saddles in different widths to suit.

I also ran with a Spoon, bought a Specialized Avatar toady, similar general shape to a Spoon, but with more relief:

Used a Xen for years, so bought a Xar when they first came out, but sadly the sizing was different, so didn’t fit my wide moon bonce :-(

I had a 32T on my XT double & it did foul very slightly, but seemed to run ok.

Currently running a 34T, which doesn’t foul at all.
