My Solaris is perched on 120.

I got 140 Revs & had a new air spring fitted – feels perfect to me.

    I actually ran it at 140 for a couple of months…… 8O

Take the rack to your LBS & ask for 2 bikes to fit it.

    scratched bottles….

TBH its more the cages I don’t want ruined.

My title is a bit crap really, probably should of read:

Which bottle is less likely to ruin my carbon cage….

Just buy a duplicate bike and hang it on the wall if you’re that bothered about the odd scratch

    Good idea!

Just need to persuade the wife……

    Ooops!

I’ve broken the rules twice then, 1st time I bought a legit £1k bike, but before the contract ended I had changed that many bits, it ended up a completely different bike, inc. frame & forks!

2nd time, I got a frame, wheels & a few other bits (knew the owner, since ceased trading)

I’d have thought there would have been a shorter/faster option than the A9?

Possibly, im not exactly sure where it is tbh, 50 miles NW of Laggan?

    Is it far past Laggan?

We travel from the Angus area & wondered how long it would take?

Mine too, but the second set are ‘thick’ – the ones fitted were ‘thin’

i dont really even get how people think these pocs etc look good either, they look pretty stupid like a helmet designed for something different than MTB IMO

I didn’t buy mine for the looks, but the level of protection it offers – they sit lower at the back.

Plus they can handle multiple impacts, unlike most that should be binned after 1 crash.

    Thanks all :?

For anyone interested, I got in touch with POC direct & they are sending out replacement pads FOC.

    Salute.

Trabec here – the best helmet I’ve owned.

Only downside, the pads don’t like the washing machine – ive had them in 3 times & fit for the bin now :-(

More likely to be the rims – they are fairly heavy duty……

Thinking of getting the ProTection version for a 29er hardtail. Would usually run a tyre below 30psi though if it weren’t for pinch flats.

Im selling one, £20 posted to your door…….

    + 1 for Revs.

Been using Fox for years before switching to RS at the start of the year.

RS feel & stiffness – far superior imo.

The 2014 ‘murdered out’ ones do look nice……

why were you on an MTB and the two in front on road bikes?

It wasn’t actually a race, just a charity event, regardless some folk just can’t help to go all out.

Ive got 2013 Revs & needed to replace the air spring assembly to reduce from 140 – 120mm.

    It cost approx £75.

    The one I needed:

Running 2013 RS Revelation RCT3 Solo Air with a 120mm air cartridge.

    Feels spot on for me.
