Not read the thread, just watched the video – cracking stuff.

I could get behind that. As a Spectrum owner, Paradroid was one of the very few games that made me want a C64. There’s been a PC remake or two, but not the ‘reboot’ you suggest. Could be interesting I reckon.

Did you play Quazatron? Was pretty much Paradroid, but (arguably) better.

Rafters at Nethergreen was really good the one time I went.

I’ve always wanted to go there, but it’s a bit out of my price range. Is it worth it? Any chance of a bit a review?

Well, it was a couple of years ago, it was proper p1ssing down with rain and I can’t remember a great deal about it. Which doesn’t help much.

What I can remember is that the food and service were excellent, and that I’d happily go back but haven’t had the chance. My parents have been a few times since, and really rate it.

Maranellos on Ecclesall Rd is decent. Rafters at Nethergreen was really good the one time I went.

    Another ‘meh’ for Nonna.

They’re needed to drown out the noise of thousands of p1ssed up karaoke scousers, all night raves and so on.

It’s an alright site, cheap, facilities are okay but it’s a bit lively..

Chamomilla granules. A good homeopathic remedy for teething. Used on both my kids during teething. Also great for settling them down when they can’t sleep.

Yeah, it’s good stuff and works well for us. Teetha and Boots Teething Powder also contain it.

Nice bike – here’s hoping it shows up.

I’m local(ish), so will keep an eye out.

Avoiding a statically typed language would be a good move for a beginner, so maybe avoid C# initially.

Ruby or Python would be a good choice. Javascript for dabbling in, but things get nasty quite quickly when you start to introduce object orientation.

Think you can retrofit an RC2 damper, but that would involve £££.

Trying to think of something good to say but as the bearings disintegrated in mine after three months, I’m struggling.

Erm, it looked nice. Came in a nice box too.

Went in 2000, and can’t remember a great deal. Erm, Jazz Festival very good, hot, very beautiful picture postcard beaches with azure blue ocean etc, some chavs, good snorkelling with the colourful fishes, lots of locals living in shacks, volcano, sulphur springs smell pretty bad, local weed is dynamite.

    Hope that helps.

It can be good – the artwork is excellent, and when it’s focused and funny (the ‘is my bike okay’ and the escaping lungs strips spring to mind) it’s great. Too much whimsy (aka self indulgent bedwetting) most of the time though.

Tapered or unspecified (which could be anything, really..).

There are several places that still have the 160mm 2011 55 RC3 Ti available.

Yep, Neff are good – had one in my old house (again, for over ten years) and it was fine. Don’t buy an Indesit – got one in new house, less than two years old and it’s effed already. And it wasn’t great in the first place.

My cat is called Minimoog. To the best of my knowledge, she has had little influence on modern synthesizer design.

Had mine for about a year, and love it. Slackish, long stays and low BB (13″ with a 160mm fork) make it so much fun to ride. Stable at speed, corners great and suspension has a nice pop to it.

Have used it for everything from 40 mile Lakes rides to playing at DH in the woods.

Bushing issues – I believe there were some QC issues, but my frame has been fine. Bushings need replacing now, but it has been ridden through winter in some pretty nasty filth so not too bad.

Crap camera phone photo, 36’s have been replaced with 55RC3Ti’s.

Ah – I’d forgotten that they did yours as well.

That makes two that they have done – good jobs on both.

    Wheel off?

I’ve seen someone get a fully built Norco DH Team into a Civic which was pretty impressive. Didn’t see them get it out again, mind.

Blimey, sounds like you’ve not had much fun at all..

Been on it 10 years constantly, but with one 8 month stretch off it just to see what happened. What happened was that my Crohns started to flare (which has always been a slow process with me), so it was quickly back onto it.

Only problem I’ve had with the azathioprine is increased susceptibility to infection. Not been a real issue, but has been more of a problem since my daughter was born. Currently playing with dosage to find the lowest possible maintainance dose.

Hope you feel better soon, and hope that it works for you. Made a huge difference for me.

Been on it for over 10 years, side effects were miserable for the first few weeks but it made a huge difference for me so it was well worth sticking with.

I had all the side effects you list, except the sleep problems.

Have you tried Windwave for the FSA adapters?

They’re also available on the FSA site, dunno if they ship to the UK though.

Just a pic from the net, but I’ve got 44 + 55 RC3’s (and have owned Marzocchi air forks before), and the air valve is in the same place on all of them.

Looks like the air valve is on top of the right hand leg :

(Edit : these are 2010 Micro Air Ti, do yours look like this?)

Interesting stuff. Graphite is a good lubricant, dunno whether this is the correct application but the (admittedly biased) test reports suggest that it works well.

The jockey wheel iteslf won’t break the bank at 20 Euros, whether it’s money well spent depends on how the rest of the drivetrain wears with it.

These are the KCNC adapters mentioned above – should do what you want (without having to go up a rotor size).
