Listing images are far too big on mobile – formatting the listings like the ‘recent boosted ads’ section would be an improvement.

I thought it looked decent initially, but boosted ads completely break it from a browsing POV.

Maybe change the boost functionality so it works more like PB repost?

Ah, misread that – easily done as that place has been demolished a few times over the years.

Morley? That would really suck, the place is a little gem.

Didn’t think the FC had any interest up there though, or is it someone else?

Yeah, if you dig around on the FC website the management plan is up there. Still sh1t to see so much hard work ruined though.

Worst thing about Kleen-Prep is the need to drink about 700 litres of it. Also the vanilla flavour.

I’ve got a couple of bearing pullers and presses from here :

    https://www.bearingprotools.com

Various sizes available, decent price and work very well.

I’ve got an Airshot, which works very well.

We really liked our Yepp Mini – youngest grown out of it now so it’s for sale, just not got round to posting an ad for it yet. PM me if interested.

Ah, well for PC (Windows) development I’d definitely recommend learning C#. That thread doesn’t really answer the question about what the OP would like to do with their newly learned abilities though.

Agree that getting a solid understanding of one thing is a very good move, and once you’ve got one major language under your belt, learning others is largely a case of syntax (unless you’re talking major paradigm shifts like OO to functional).

I think that before recommending any particular language, it would be worth finding out what the OP would like to achieve.

A method is a function, a class encapsulates variables and methods, an object is an instance of a class.

I’ve written games on Amiga/ST/SNES/PC Engine/PSX/N64/Dreamcast/PS2/360/Wii/PS3/WiiU and have nearly all of them in the loft along with dev kits for some of them. Also got my old C64.

I like to have a record of the games I’ve worked on, although no idea why I’m keeping the hardware. Work exclusively on mobile stuff now, but have no real interest in holding onto any of that.

Definitely go with the Revive post – I’ve had mine over 18 months now and it’s been flawless.

I loved Soviet Bus Stops – if any book is going to make you want to visit Abkhazia, this is it.

+1 ParcelForce, sent a few frames with them and always been fine.

As others have noted, setup and (dis)mounting is a bit faffy. Overall though ours has been great, my kids have had loads of fun with it.

Another thing to consider is that the WeeHoo is big and heavy and takes up a lot of room in a car, so trips further afield can be awkward.

Mine (mk1) will up for sale soon too – PM me if interested.

Ryde rim you say? Look on the bright side – if you do manage to get the tyre on, first sniff of a rock will have you needing a new rim anyway.

Chrome / Android – 24 hour cookie clear didn’t work, but all time cookie clear sorted it.

I quite like my WileyFox but wouldn’t get another, not least because they’ve gone bust.

The wife has a G5, it’s a very good phone for the money.

My Cove Hummer that I’ve had since 2003 – lovely lovely bike, the past few years it’s mainly been used for child haulage / family rides / commuting (which means it gets the most use of any of my bikes).

Had Schwalbe Big Apples on it which were great, but I had loads of trouble running them tubeless. When they wore out, replaced them with Maxxis DTH just so I could run them tubeless, the skinwalls had nothing to do with it..

Worth mentioning then that I don’t have the fancy edit box functionality when logged in on any of my devices (mobile dev, so logged in on multiple Android devices, 3 x PCs and a solitary iOS device).

I bought some Swrve trousers in their black Friday sale, and I’m really happy with them. Robust, well made and stretchy in all the right places.

Not cheap though even when on sale, but I reckon it was money well spent.

We’ve ordered an Orbea MX20 for our tall 6 year old, but it sounds like size is the major constraint for you. Not sure how she would have got on with anything 20″ when she was five.

Something 16″ and second hand to tide you over?

There’s a table of dropper post heights halfway down this review which could come in handy.

In contrast, I bought a Sugoi jacket from them last year. Turned up fairly quickly, all good.

I’d had it for a couple of weeks when I caught the liner in the zip and tore it. Would usually put this down to operator error, but it was particularly easy to do with this jacket, and the lining tore a bit too readily.

Mailed them and explained the situation, they asked for photos and after receiving them sent me a new jacket – very happy.

Good to hear that people are happy with their Vituses (Vitii?). Have decided on an Orbea MX20 for big sister, but getting a Vitus 14 for younger sister.
