Friend has a one piece carbon bar and stem from Chinese manufacturer, it’s horrible flexy. I’d be changing to something bit nicer. In your pic you have no bar tape?
Can’t remember with treks but bikes most often come with the stem attached but the bar off. For a PDI on a bike, shops will mostly check headset is not loose and stem bolts are torqued correctly. I’d be mentioning it to the shop so they can feed back to Trek.
Worst I’ve seen was someone using motor oil for their drivetrain, you literally couldn’t see the chain, cogs or jockey wheels for crud. Apparently it wasn’t shifting very well.
You’ll have a moment where you’ve got the hang of it and are whooshing round near the top of the banking. Closely followed by your legs falling off and you realise you’re whooshing along near the top of the banking. It’s ace.
I’m hoping this is the last series of the Tory show as it’s just not believable anymore, none of the actors are convincing and the plot just keeps getting sillier.
I think they could do a second series but just with new characters, doubt Kenobi sat for ten years in a cave throwing cards into a Stormtrooper helmet.
Beto tubeless thing very good, had two tyres that airshot just couldn’t get sealed. Beto did them both first time, plus just better designed, decent base and just easier.
The only issue I can see is since they’ve been so dominant that all the other teams expect Jumbo to do all the work. Not much point chasing breaks down just for Jumbo to win, so they might find themselves exhausted in the last week.
Yup carbon repair works in Leatherhead, sent many customers to them and been impressed with the work. Just fixed friends supersix he got on eBay because of chainstay hole, looks great now.
Shimano and hope use different fittings so you have to do a bit of work unfortunately. Also follow the hope bleeding instructions properly as otherwise they won’t feel great
If you derestrict it then shops won’t touch it when you have an issue, and ebikes do often have issues. Very expensive if you need new battery or motor.
I’d say goosed, if you just replace a fee bits it’s not going to mesh very well with the old stuff and more than likely will have issues.
Availability is much bette than it was and as long as you’re flexible you’ll get hold of stuff easily enough.
Once we get more Vader and possibly Maul it’s going to really start. Hoping Old Ben gets a bit more Kenobi though as I think he’s forgotten which button turns his light saber on.
Gilet and arm warmers or thin windproof/waterproof as heavy rain can strike anytime, also it gets cold descending for ages, I’d even consider some thin full finger gloves.
Endura pro sl are the comfiest I’ve tried so far, they come in different leg and pad sizes. Although my new chpt3 are pretty nice as well, all bought in sales before I need new shorts.
Bear in mind dates on manufacturers and distributors websites are changing weekly, currently so I’d take any dates as suggestions more than set in stone.
I’ve had 3 deliveries from them, one I asked it to be dropped at a neighbour’s house and they promptly delivers three large boxes to my doorstep, handily I was away for a week. Next two deliveries have gone to my neighbour…….without us asking!
Yeah I imagine even at my fittest on a good day with a tailwind that any ex pro who isn’t a 100 years old and still rides regularly would destroy me easily.
This is not going well, need a much better second half of we want to win. We look dangerous when we’re running but line outs and kicking not going well.
Seen a few ebikes in the shop where people have just left it in a big gear and used the motor to boost it. Wears components and stuff very fast as under a lot of force, unless you have a fairly flat ride you might find issues further down the road. Pun fully intended.
Problem you might have is finding a dealer or a bike shop that’ll fix it. Since it’s got a throttle it’s not UK legal so a lot of shops won’t touch them.
