Personally I like SIS Rego, maybe it costs twice as much as milk but you don’t need a shop or a fridge.

I made the gps distance 8.5k, someone with a wheel rotation computer made it 10k. The difference I think is because you change direction a lot and gps smoothes out the route?

You don’t say what size helmet and what thickness of pad…I have 2 new pairs of the thicker pad for the L/XL helmet. Email in profile if anyone wants one.

There is a sort of metal staple on the bar side of the remote, you have to pull that out to remove the plastic aperture that the pushrod goes into. Hopefully someone can post a better description as mine only went one way – never back together again!

I don’t remember the name of the place, hotel on the main street. Sent their by the b&b for food/drink as there is not much grub on offer in the evening. They couldn’t have been friendlier, all good really.

Yes the normal trousers are very comfy eg for walking and come in different lengths, the shorts I love and wear all summer. There is a fleece lined version of the trouser which is almost always too hot, I suppose if you were just standing around it would be good.

A bit of stretch so I would say yes generous. Are you thinking of riding in them? (I would suggest not)

I can tell you that a crash replacement Enduro will cost you £45 if that helps you…but never tried on a feature.

Ah great – thanks for your help.

Well yes it is leaking oil but isn’t that mainly due to there being so little shaft left to hold the seal straight?

Milford sound was lovely, stay the night and book on to the first boat of the day is my tip. Dolphins at Kaikoura also great.

Tins of mackerel in tomato sauce or olive oil. I cook rice at work in the microwave most days (cheaper than packets). Porridge is very easy to make – why buy those expensive pots?

The dial may be at max but the forks still at 120mm. Do a hard compression (not easy, use the included plastic axle thing to support them properly) and see if they pop up.

I tried a radium guide “bashwich” setup. There was a clearance issue with the chainstay and after the first time it packed full of mud I gave up on it.

IIRC its what it says on the sign-in form, there is nobody to enforce though.

Fatbike would be fine it it fitted in the trailer…maybe ask them first.

How did you feel about the electronic viewfinder? that would be the biggest issue for me. Will the shop let you go outside and try shooting moving cars with it for example?

Bracknell is maybe the cheapest place if Swinley is your kind of thing.

Surrey hills borders and you will struggle with the money, probably possible though.

I used to use an Evoc bike bag for this purpose, it was a PITA and I made the switch to Access self storage instead.

That duffbag looks ideal though, had no idea someone was already making the thing I needed!

Hover over the link and it gives the name of the adware? I had coupondropdown before, don’t know where from and despite what the websites say no adware/antivirus program would remove it. Did a clean install and will pay more attention if it comes back.

That’s strange then, the high clamp seems to cost more but it’s the simpler model?

I am sure that photo is the low mount, I would expect a high mount to reach over like a mech.

I quite like the ISCG mount, am trying to find out a weight.

We went a few years ago – I thought it was like a prison camp without the guards…

Did your kids not constantly want to do the pay-extra activities?

I don’t have enough experience to rate them, but I have never felt that they under-perform.

Could you run a shorter stem to change your position with your current forks?

I have the 120-150 you mention on my hardtail. I like it – you can just a bout change the travel without stopping – reach down, turn dial 1/4, compress forks hard. They are a bit heavier than revs though, and i’m not sure how dropping the travel compares to lockout in climbing efficiency.

Take a pub bike if possible and leave your bike in the cleaning cupboard, plenty of room in all of the lodges I have seen.

I had the idea myself to run a flat tube inside a tubeless tyre, if you get a puncture that doesn’t seal then inflate the tube?

My wife asked if we could go into the stand with our tickets, she was told they didn’t have time to build a stand for spectators yet despite selling tickets for it and we could have the money back on the website…not found how yet.

Must be the worst organised olympic event? 7 water taps for 20,000 people?

They should have thought of that for this months packrafting article in the mag – just lash the bikes together and away you go 😕

I really like the manfrotto mini tripod here, although I have the older version which looks smarter.
