+2 on D rings, a slight faff but far more secure and comfortable than seat-belt type fasteners.

No real makes to avoid, but as has been said, try loads on and spend at least £100, ideally nearer your £200 budget. Fit should be slightly too tight (but not uncomfortably so) when new as the lining will give a bit in use.

    Hey Giler!

I used Flites for years and have SLRs on my road bikes. I've used a Charge Spoon on my cx bike for over 18 months now and it's one of the most comfy saddles I've ever had – and dead cheap too (I paid about £18 iirc). Recommended!!

    <tomorrow>

Work colleagues: Gilo, you look tired today, how come?

Gilo: I was up late drinking red wine and reading a thread on the net about shitting.

    Colleagues: Oh. Right.

Cheers for the advice, however I now have it sorted, with the help of the (very helpful and quick to answer) Samsung helpline.

Numlock was on, which meant when I typed in the network key it was incorrect, but as I couldn't see the characters I had no way of knowing!!!

The helpline guy did say it's quite a common problem with a lot of Samsung netbooks going out with Numlock on.

How on earth could anyone have thought there was a problem with allowing Griffin on QT?

Absolutely the right thing to do. Let the guy show himself for what he is.

It was slightly "let's gang up on the smelly spotty kid" which offended my sense of fair play, but the guy did so little (read: f*ck all) to redeem himself it was inevitable.

A victory for freedom of speech.

Last wine-fuelled post from me, I'm off to bed.

It has no problem detecting networks (mine plus 3 or 4 others) but as they're all (predictably) protected I can't try and connect to them.

Router is about 2 weeks old (wife's company router / pc as she works from home). Can't actually do anything to the router as don't have admin access, but as my phone connects with no problem at all I'm sure the problem isn't there.

Ok, sh*thole may be slightly harsh, however Emmersons Green is a large sprawling modern estate with few facilities (I live fairly centrally in Bristol so I mean comparatively) and no soul and that’s not my cup of tea at all. However if you like modern estate houses I’m sure it’s a pleasant enough place to live. Would go for Long Ashton anyday personally.

Long Ashton is lovely, Emmersons Green is a sh*thole. IMO. Long Ashton to Filton is a reasonable distance but easily do-able, anotherdeadhero on here does that commute every day and can fill you in on best route etc.

    Nice one – cheers.

Just reserved one to pick up later. Going to be doing some motorbike camping this year and don’t have much room on the bike to carry stuff so this should be ideal.
